Back in the day before iPhones and smart phones existed, we had camcorders to video everything and in so glad they are making a comeback especially for people who use it for blogs on YouTube etc.The quality compared to a smartphone is unbeatable as the clarity and sound are absolutely on point. My daughter has a YouTube channel which is oddly popular and we started using this instead of the smart phone and the clarity and sound has been elevated to a whole new level! So impressed with this and for the price it’s absolutely worth it.

I used this to record a door at night and compared it to a webcam and a simple cctv webcam. THe image quality is terrible and i dont think its 4K at all although im no an opticals expert. the webcam and cctv were much much clearer. the nightvision was shocking compared to the other 2. Sound was not good even with an external microphone. the instruction booklet may as well have not bothered. 2 batteries came with it which was good though although they dont have a long life so leave camcorder plugged into the mains. Talking of charging youhave to open up the screen to plug in a charger and leave it open. Not good design. The camcorder itself is very light. Its made of flimsy plastic so dont drop it! Frankly id expect more for 150 quid - this is the quality of camcorder for 20 quid off of WISH. Not very good at all and im not impressed. Save your money people.

After looking for a camera for my daughter she said she wanted this one, arrived very quickly, everything was in the box and it looks amazing when put together picture quality is great she's going to be very happy on Xmas day 😀

Simply put the camera does not record at 4k resolution. I did comparisons to my logitech c920 webcam and the webcam was better in all tests for resolution and features. The batteries provided have to be charged whilst in the camera so there is no way to charge the spare battery whilst the other one is being used.I would compare the quality of the camera to video cameras of the late 90's early 2000's. Im going to continue to use the camera for some outside shots as it gives a very old retro lost footage camera style footage but if your looking for 4k your going to have to spend £500+

Okay, so I got the camcorder a few days back... and as others have said, yes, it is well packaged, and the video quality in good light conditions is surprisingly good.However, regarding the lens cap, it would have made sense to be able to attach it with the sun hood in place, which you cannot. The lens cap must be attached directly to the lens, the sun hood has no threading either so that original cap will not connect to it, you can however get a separate 62mm pinch cap to fit inside the sun hood and provide the lens cover protection that way... Also, the steady handle which is well worth having, despite having a brass connector point on the underside suggesting you can screw say a tripod quick release to it, is not actually threaded and preventing that ability, which is pretty annoying.It is also worth mentioning the camera seems to have little in the way of stabilizing features. Another major annoyance is if you have the audio beeps turned on for menu control, they get recorded when say you zoom the lens, which is strange. One nice feature is the contrast sensitive time date stamp, which is either white or black text depending on how bright that part of the screen is. Though the time and date do seem to keep resetting to their pointless defaults on the camera I have.The onboard mic is good for road and background noise, the hot shoe external mic is a lot better, but again a weird complaint that the sound jack on the camera is behind or inside the view screen cover and another cover panel behind that, requiring you to continuously remove and re-connect the sound cable every time you close the view screen to turn the camera off which is also a pain.The last pain worth mentioning is the record / pause button is positioned perfectly for hand held use when you are grasping the camcorder in your hand, it is in an awkward location if you are using that steady handle. Where the mode button is would have been a great location for a second record / pause key, but hey ho...Oh yeah and the camera pouch, is far too small to get the camera in with the battery on the back of the camera, in fact the pouch is the same length as the remote control and struggles to get that and the spare battery plus say something that holds some extra SD cards in... So be prepared to by a larger bag to store everything in.So the niggling annoyances, this is actually for the price a good lightweight camera that is easy without all the extras attached to carry in a coat pocket.

This very good quality of camera .I bought it for my husband ,its good camcorder for his You Tube chanel for beginning .The sound quality is excellent .Video camera very easy to use!!!Highly recomended!!!

This is advertised as a “Vlogging Camera”, but I have spent the past 4 days trying to connect it to my laptop and my desktop, with no success. As the camera only says “Made in China”, there is no company name to address to find solutions to the problem. I have been all over the internet looking for a soulution and have decided there isn’t one. So if you are looking for a “vlogging camera” don’t bother with this one! I would be grateful if the manufacturers could assist me with this problem, but they are nowhere to be found….so not holding my breat.
