I take these along with Hyland’s PM on a daily basis! I live in the High Desert and now that we’ve already broken 100 degrees, dehydration is a fact of life. Outside in the day, the body loses a quart of water each hour! Leg cramps were also a fact of desert living. Your body cramps as a warning that dehydration is right around the corner. After a little research, I found that quinine was the age old go to method of forestalling cramping. Further investigations led me to the Hyland regiment. So, 2 tabs each morning brought me relief! They start to dissolve as soon as they reach your mouth. They have virtually no taste and leave no aftertaste. The value for the money is great, just because they will stop cramping in it’s tracks. I don't know the medical validity of these pills....but they work for me.I've bought both the cream and these pills (which melt under tongue). The pills seem to work fast enough.I have a problem with cramps...especially when very tired or when dehydrated. First learned of these during "Tour de France" a couple of years ago...makes sense...I'm sure bicyclists get a lot of cramps. Before was trying all kinds of stuff (mustard, tonic water, pickle juice) all awful tasting (yuk). This has little or no taste (just a bit chalky...like Tums).This works wonders...if already in a crams...it helps, but I like to take it as first sign of cramp (i.e. when muscle starts twitching)...so I keep bottle close by (on nightstand or take with me if I know I may be in a situation where I may get dehydrated and/or overly tired).Recently had knee surgery and had a cramp..was the worst pain ever as it was on the operable leg...that was a close to a "10" that I ever got. I asked my son to get my Hyland's and the hospital allowed it (better than hearing me yelling from pain and them trying to massage out the cramp)....this is now my "go to" any time I get a leg cramp...bye bye Tonic Water and Mustard!

I have horrible cramps in my legs, feel, and, yep, toes after walking, climbing stairs…horrible onslaught at night. I had these tablets recommended to me years ago. I always keep a bottle at my bedside for the best intervention in the world. I’m 80 years old and my body needs help sometimes. This is perfect to me.
