This is a fantastic light bar (9.5/10). I would recommend it for anyone that does work on their desk--it's well worth $40.Some background: I am a student so I do a lot of work on my computer and I do a lot of work/reading on my desk (usually at the same time and at weird hours). I have been using this lightbar with my PC with 2 monitors for about 3 weeks now.All of the pictures were taken at night with all other lights off.Features:The lightbar has 3 modes: Cool white, warm white, and a mix of both. Great for daytime and nighttime work.The lightbar has a great range of brightness. It does get very dim, but very usable and easy on the eyes which is great for reading at night. On the other end, it gets bright enough to be nice to use during the day with the windows open and the lights on.The brightness settings can be a little tricky to get just right as the brightness doesn't step per touch of the button, it changes as you hold the button.The light does not shine in your eyes or glare on the monitor. The LEDs are angled towards you, keeping them off the screen, and the frame blocks the light from going past your desk.It feels heavy, I believe it's made of metal and I think it'll last a while.ConsThe clamp mount seems a little tight, but there is no distortion on the screen so I'm not even sure if that would be a problem for anyone with a decent bezel. I currently have it on an ASUS VN247H-P 23.6" monitor.The lightbar is fairly tall and I like to keep my camera for zoom on top of the monitor the lightbar is on. This means that I have to put my camera on top of the lightbar and it does feel a little too high up during calls, but it is still very usable.The lightbar doesn't turn off when I turn off my PC. I guess it still gets power but that's not a big deal.

I really liked this light bar when first got it and I thought it made a great addition to my desk set of because of the small footprint and the fact that it rests on top of the monitor . However I am pretty disappointed in the execution of this light bar because it does not stay in one spot, after a few minutes of readjusting the light bar in always droops down and the mechanism that holds it seems to be very loose. Overall the light that gives off is actually pretty nice and the controls are pretty easy to use. However this is all negated when you have to constantly readjust the light because it keeps drooping down pointing towards the monitor instead of towards the desk. I was really torn between this particular light bar and another more expensive but very popular light bar on Amazon. I ended up purchasing this one because it was significantly cheaper than the Ben Q light bar, however after this experience I am regretting this purchase and really wish I would have spent more for a higher quality product and less headaches. I would definitely not recommend this product because of this major design flaw. The only way I was able to get around this problem is by using some electrical tape on the back so that it holds the light bar in place. It seems to be working now over a few days but will see how this solution works in the long term. However, I don't think that buying a product should come with the caveat of having to engineer your own solution for manufacturer design flaws.Update 03/16/22: Baseus customer support reached out to me a few months ago and they sent me a replacement for this monitor lamp. The new lamp works really well. I am not having the same issue as before (lamp unable to stay in place & drooping down). The new monitor lamp works just as well as my more expensive BenQ light bar. I wish all companies stood by their products like Baseus. If anything changes I will update my review as necessary. As of now, for the price, I would definitely recommend the Baseus monitor lightbar.

Original 1 Star Review: Do not buy this product if you value quality for your hard earned money and customer support for which there is none. I have owned the monitor lamp for less than a year and it will not stay on for more than a minute at a time. I have to repeatedly push the button to turn it back on which is so annoying and totally interrupts my work flow. Ascetically, I really like the lamp but looks only help you get in the door but can't keep you on the job. I realize sometimes things happen and QC can be lacking so I reached out to Baseus via email to see if they would either replace my lamp, fix it or send me my money back. Baseus has yet to respond to me even after providing them with all the information they required like purchase date, item number and Amazon purchase confirmation number etc... This is not good business and it will be their downfall. For now, I am left with a big black heavy paperweight...very disappointed!Update (March 2022): Perhaps after reading my initial review about the lamp being a paperweight and no one from CS contacting me, Baseus finally reached out and made it right by sending me out a new desk light. The light is working as it should now. No flickering issues or solo shut offs. My previous lamp also worked fine for about 11 months so only time will tell hence the upgrade to a 4 star rating. As I previously mentioned, the desk light is beautiful , sleek and modern and it does a great job illuminating my desk area when I don't want to use the overhead lights. The only suggestion I would give to Baseus is redesign the lamp so that it fits more monitors with thicker screen frames. Oh, and get on QC's butts for letting the bad lamps slip through. Otherwise, I am very pleased that Baseus took ownership for their product's shortcomings and they were very polite throughout the replacement process. Thank you Hamy at Baseus!
