Awesome wheat grinder!
We purchased this for our prepper pantry and I LOVE it!!! It was super easy to use. The hopper is very large. It's very fast compared to others I've owned. It cleans up quickly and easily and stores compactly, as pictured. I'm even able to keep it right on my counter as it has a relatively small footprint. Nothing like fresh-ground flour made into yummy warm whole-wheat bread or pizza crust! Very pleased with this purchase!

Fiddley Assembly
Update 01/09/2021There are way more issues than I imagined! The canister lid will not stay on. When we turn on the machine it pops up and flour gets all over the kitchen. We had rice in it and so to finish we held down the lid. I will call Customer Service on Monday!!!Since I had planned to bake a few things I got my sweet man to hold down the lid while I operated the switch. We tried Garbanzo Beans. They kept getting stuck to the point that we couldn't turn the unit off even because of the little door that opens up (beans were blocking it). I got it unplugged and we "dug out" the beans that were stuck and tried several things... like a slow feed... removing the little rubber thing (they pop all over the place and still got stuck!). So I put the chickpeas in my Vitamix to knock them smaller and tried to feed those in. They weren't all smaller and the whole ones got stuck. There are two holes under the little rubber suppressor that go DIRECTLY INTO THE MOTOR AREA!!!! If your bits are small enough (as with happened with the rice) they'll go into those holes and then start flying all over the kitchen as the motor spins!!!!So when it gets a couple of garbanzos stuck in there... you've got to lift up the suppressor. Since I did that without emptying the contents of the hopper, garbanzo bits FLEW EVERYWHERE!!!! We spent a huge amount of time trying to clean up garbanzo bits from all over the kitchen (and livingroom since we were working on the bar between the two). He spent forever trying to vac and shake and blow the bits out of the motor area. You could see the ones that fit into the suppressor holes stuck in the holes in the bottom where you wind the cord!I will see what customer service says on Monday but for now this product is a return, which breaks my heart! While I absolutely love getting to own and use the NutriMill... it wasn't without issues.I was missing the manual and any paperwork that usually goes inside the box. So I THOUGHT I was missing the "tube" that connects the mill to the receiving container. I called NutriMill (not the seller because I figured they couldn't send parts.) and they were really polite and helpful.... all 3 times I called. When he said it must be a faulty lid and said he'd send a new one, I looked more online and figured out my oversight. I also then realized that they didn't send the plastic ring for using flour bags. Ultimately we got the new lid order cancelled, flour bag ring and manuals ordered and they arrived in a couple of days.Meanwhile I did the "clean it out with rice" thing per the online manual instructions. Attaching the machine to the canister with a hard, plastic tube has me wondering how long until that tube breaks if we bump either. But how each of these parts tucks in to create the smallest storage space possible is pure engineering genius!!!! I played with each of the settings as the cleaning rice worked its way through and even though I had to throw them out, the results were amazing. There was everything from fine, dusty powder to course chunks. I can't wait to try all manner of flours! My other (and biggest) complaint... which kept this from a 5 star rating is the "hopper". Again, pure genius the way it slides up and down to keep it tucked in during storage. When I pulled it up for use it didn't quite click. The click is small and quiet. My advice is WIGGLE IT and be REALLY SURE it's attached!!! When I poured in more rice (thinking I had it out, I might as well make some horchata to drink while I make some bread LOL) the hopper dropped, rice went everywhere! I pulled it back up, but rice was stuck... it wouldn't feed right so with it not all the way up (while I held it) so I wiggled it and took out the cover inside (P.S. online manual says you get a red and grey one and you only get a grey one now apparently. Kind gent who helped me get my flour bag ring ordered filled me in as I went through the list of things I thought were missing!). Well that let rice fall inside of some holes and basically I spent an hour trying to clean up rice from my kitchen, rice from the machine and the bits of flour and rice that went all over. I had to keep turning the machine upside down and shake it to get all of the rice out.It says garbanzo beans are okay... I'm wondering if they'll fit in that little cover... because I know that removing that little cover is a no-no!So while I love how well this works when assembled correctly, and I love the space-saving features in its design... I'm not in love with how fiddley it is to get it all set up. I hope and trust that with practice and double checking the hopper click, that I'll love it 100%.P.S. The horchata turned out GREAT!

Never used it
As I was unpacking this item there was a notice that said not for milling seeds and nuts. I didn't even finish unpacking it, just taped it back up and returned. I ordered a MockMill and am very happy with it.

Yes it can mill fairly fine flour!
Really happy with my purchase. The flour I’m able to mill is smoother than I was expecting based off other reviews. Love the bagging attachment. If you’re thinking about a flour mill this one is all you’ll need.

Fast and easy
Easy setup! Incredibly fast grinding and easy cleaning. I especially love the ability to bag the flour as it’s ground.

If you're going for a medium/coarse grind it's your mill
I bought this model for its reputation of producing a great fine flour. My first round I didn't sift because I didn't know what to expect. The bread came out with the texture of a gritty cornbread. It wasn't bad but it wasn't what I was going for by any means. The second use I decided to sift it through a normal kitchen sieve to see just how much wasn't really "fine". A full 1/3 of the volume is definitely medium/coarse. The wheat berries wouldn't even flow smoothly through the aperture until I was a hair away from the medium setting on the dial. Not a "waste of money" I suppose it will be nice to have if the supply chain is pinched again, but I'm disappointed. They say the fine setting makes pastry flour...um, nope no it doesn't.

Nutrimill needs a customer service team that actually cares to return a message.
First off, this is the BEST grain mill I have ever owned! Of course, its the ONLY grain mill I have ever owned so you might want to take that into consideration. The manual says that setting two with the motor speed set to "fine" is good for bread. What they don't tell you is why.I did not get a grain mill just to never use the #1 fine setting. Thats like using a pure breed hunting dog to find your keys! Ain't gonna happen.Ya know what happens if you grind grain at a high speed but a slow feed rate? You generate heat, a lot of it.What happens with all that heat in a moderately humid environment? Moisture appears out of nowhere! Now mix very fine flour with just a tiny bit of moisture and you know what you get?A plugged feed tube to the flour canister. Then, in fairly rapid succession, you get the temp control relay tripped and the grain mill stops milling. Ask me how I know this. Now comes the fix!I had to completely disassemble my Nutrimill Plus all the way down to the micronizing plates, remove the top plate and scrape the semi-baked flour out, clear the feed tube and then reassemble everything.I'm getting too old for this!Plus, there is NO TROUBLESHOOTING SECTION in the manual that should have told you that the reset switch is under the mill by the power cord.I have voided my warranty with the unauthorized disassembly and I'm okay with that. I still like the Nutrimill Plus, but this honeymoon is over!. Now, I wish I had gotten the Nutrimill Harvest. At least, you can get to the grinding stones really easily.Live and learn. Now on to the complete lack of customer service. I used the contact form on the website. The first time was on 1/2/22 and the last time on 1/13/22.I am no longer waiting on an answer. Nutrimill will be getting a phone call in about twenty minutes.I just called. The "lady" that answers the phone needs to be fired!Pete
