Multi Purpose
I originally bought these as hides for my jumping spiders. They loveeee them and they came in multiple sizes, which was great Then I found out I can use them to scrub my face with. They are so soft and gentle.

Great for science program on silkworm lifecycle
I used for a science program on insects and kids enjoyed working with them. Very inexpensive, hands-on activity. I might also use them for a program on textiles. Was a bonus that the cocoons luminescence under UV ("black light").

Wish I would have returned
Too small and stiff. It feels like these mate have been over treated with starch and bleach. I don’t feel safe using them for any part of my face and they’re too small to use for crafts.

Came on time
The product came on time. There are 100 pieces and at least twenty pieces are unusable. They are discolored and cut badly. The packaging was correct.

Great!
Used these to add “silk” to my liquid soap. Cut the pods into small pieces, added to my lye water and they dissolved easily. They gave my soap a luxurious feel.

You don’t get what you see
I was disappointed when I got my product. The package was a very cheap plastic bag with a small computer printer label. The cocoons were stuck together with the other cocoons silk thread, they also looked dirty. I picked this product over the other brands because they looked nice on the picture☹️ I will save some money and buy the cheaper ones in the future

Bad smell, not suitable for jumping spiders
I got these for my jumping spiders and found out quickly that these have a bad musky smell to them. I tried airing them out, boiling them, and misting them over several days to get rid of the smell, but it still lingers. I’m quite disappointed to be honest
