I'm looking for a desk calculator that has a lit display so it's visible in the dark. Is there anything available that isn't a printing calculator?

Sharp EL-1501 has a one line lighted display. Scrolling LCD display which takes the place of paper tape is not lighted.

Does this work like an adding machine, automatically moving the decimal? If you punch in 100+ it auto puts in the decimal to 1.00?

yes it can, all functions as regular unit.

Just unboxed the critter and called Sharp. Apparently one cannot edit a number once it enters the stack???

Just subtract the wrong number you entered.
