I thank God for our new Halogen oven! I looked at views about the oven on Youtube which were very helpful in my decision to purchase one. We mostly cook pies, and toasts in it right now, but it cooks perfectly. I use the extender ring like someone in one of the Youtube videos suggested to prevent burning and it works! I will be soon placing it on a porcelain counter, so based on other peoples reviews, I'll make sure to keep it dry or keep it on a drying mat to prevent movement. I've had no problem with that at all with a wooden or plastic table. Great product! Love it! Better than slaving over a hot stove and heating up the house! Love the tongs! Very handy! I can't wait till Thanksgiving! Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus!!!

Like the size and style. Still trying to figure it out. Not much information was included. I didn't buy extra booklets. Learned through some trial and error. My food is now turning out great. It maintains it's quality, with juiciness and character not found in a lot of cooking methods.

I haven't tried a turkey or a chicken in this thing, but that's not what I wanted it for in the first place.Microwaving leftovers, let's face it - the whole process sucks. Sure, it's quick, but you're left with waterlogged, chewy, tough and soggy food when you go that route. I used to use a toaster oven to get around re-heating leftovers, and even though it was better than the microwave, it never heated the food evenly.Enter this oven. Problem solved. No toaster oven size requirements and no heating up the whole kitchen by using the full-sized oven.Get one of these things, you'll love using it. I don't have a dog in this fight, don't stand a chance to benefit from any of their sales, but if my reward for taking the time to type all this out is that other people are more informed in making a decision to purchase this thing, then I'm happy as a dog with two tails. You will be too when you cook your first thing in this amazing contraption.

I bought this Halogen oven as I wanted to use my stove less as propane was getting expensive and I thought this would be a good alternative at a really good price. The instructions are very limited and it took me a while to figure out the tongs and the lid holder and they don't have many recipes or cooking instructions but the internet has lots of information on Halogen ovens you just have to look. The first thing I cooked were frozen chicken breasts from Sam's club which are huge. I didn't do anything to them at all just put them in the oven and turned it on. I checked after 20 minutes and they were almost totally raw so I put them in for another 20 minutes. I really thought I had overcooked them as they were looking a little crispy but they were really good, very moist and tender. Then I tried baking which was a total disaster. I made cornbread, brownies and biscuits and they all turned out the same, almost burnt on top and parts were still doughy and the part that was cooked was very dry. The brownies especially were hard about a quarter of the way down and the remaining 3/4 were very gooey. Then I made hamburgers out of 7% fat ground beef and these were amazing, tender and juicy and when I heated the burgers up they were still very good. My conclusion so far is this is a great oven for roasting but not for baking. I would definitely buy this oven again if just to cook meat in it's too bad it's not as versatile as they advertise.

I bought this product on May 6, 2016, it broke on July 6, 2016. There was a 30 day return policy so I could not return or get a replacement. The handle was cheap plastic and it did not cook well/fast. I have used this type of cooker for at least 10 years starting with the original Flavor-savour, several upgraded version of the Flavor-savour, at least one I bought from Costco and this is the worst I have used. I am very disappointed with this product. Since it has been only two months, I was hoping to contact the seller to see whether they would give me a replacement to see whether it is the product or just this one but there is no option for contacting the seller.

So convenient, made fried chicken and French fries all in one and they were delicious. My husband initially said "why are you always buying this stuff, it's all junk.". He changed his mind. Is Fabulous!

Good, but just found out that Aldi has the same, exact model for half the price. Very disappointed.
