Does what it is supposed to do. Easy worked and appears accurate. Happy with purchase and good value for what I paid

It’s accurate, easy to use, and has never faulted on us! We’re yet to change the batteries and it’s been going for a year and a half with a sickly baby! It’s screen is easy to read, and even if you’re at a wonky, awkward angle (as they do) trying to zap them whilst they sleep, even if you don’t catch the number the fab traffic light-like indicator it gives as well as the precise reading is bright enough to catch. Got this ahead of time for number 2, as number 1 was a febrile sufferer and I have no regrets. Perfecto.

Well it seems to work and is robust, well built and comfortable to hold. I like the way that as well as body temperatures you can get surface temperatures as well. But I do have a couple points to make.It came in a padded Jiffy bag and the cardboard box had clearly been squashed as seen in the picture. Could definitely be packed better.The manual is there, but rather small to read. It is in English but with a very interesting Chinese twist, which makes it difficult to understand. (Note if you search online for a PC868 User Manual there is an A4 PDF available)Now to make my apology, I made some rude remarks about the screwdriver and two little screws, that were in the box, coming out of a Christmas cracker as there no mention of it anywhere that I could see.In my defence although it is not mentioned in the manual, had I looked at all the photos on the product description, I would know it’s to childproof the battery compartment. I’ve shown a screen shot to make that clear.To sum up I’m pleased I purchased it, when I go for my second Covid jab I’ll take it with me and compare temperature results with the nurse.

Bought as a gift for my grand daughters

Bought this as my autistic son hates things touching him, it's super easy to use and my son will actually let me check his temperature now so I'm happy!

I was able to compare the accuracy of this thermometer with a traditional under the tongue variety of thermometer and can confirm that both this unit and the traditional ondisplayed similar temperatures.This item is relatively easy to use and offers a variety of functions such as being able to switch between F and C readings, an alarm to reflect high temperature etc. It is simple to use and will provide and accurate assessment in the right environment and taking into account, ambient surroundings e.g. I recorded a high temperature when tested with a similar device when facing the sun on a hot day, a lock of hair, unless removed can lower the temperature etc.Overall it is a reasonable item. It works, comes supplied with batteries, however I have removed two stars, one for price, as there are similar items for sale cheaper and the other for the supplier contacting me and asking me to undertake a review - I review items out of choice and to make recommendations to fellow purchasers, not to promote products.
