You can lift as light as 20% of your 1 rep max for repetitions wearing the bands and achieve muscle hypertrophy that is comparable to lifting 70-85% of your 1 rep max without them. We recommend lifting 30-40% of your 1 rep max for 10-15 repetitions for optimal hypertrophy wearing the bands. This applies to both compound and isolation exercises but these bands work best when performing isolation exercises such as bicep curls or tricep pushdowns. WHERE AND HOW DO I WRAP THESE ON MY BODY? These are designed for arms and shoulders, not the legs. To train the biceps wrap these bands above the bicep near the top of the arm. The bands should be tight enough to see signs of erythema or redness of the skin while the bands are fastened. There should not be numbness or tingly sensation when worn. If you feel that then you're wearing them too tight and you should loosen or remove them immediately. HOW DO I USE THESE FOR SHOULDER EXERCISES? Wrap the bands at the top of the arm across the medial deltoid head or middle of your shoulder. They should be wrapped tight enough so they do not loosen when performing lateral dumbbell raises.
