Buy this - Don't waste your money on those A/C kits
I purchased one of these to replace the junk one from the A/C recharge kit which I'd bought at Walmart.I only used the one supplied in the A/C kit a couple of times, and that one was a nightmare to use! This one was a completely different experience and made the process a lot easier (and less stressful). My old one had cheap plastic fittings, which never felt very "positive". When I was using it for only the 2nd time (after sitting on a garage shelf for around 10 years), the base of the valve stem completely separated from the can attachment piece. That one was utter garbage. Do not buy the Walmart type kits! When looking for a replacement I knew I needed one with metal fittings, so I would be able to use it more than once without falling apart. This one has all metal fittings. I believe they're anodized aluminum, and are colored gold. The adjustment side, which attaches atop the refrigerant can, is very positive to use. It screws on securely and the screw-valve is a night & day difference compared to the plastic kit ones. The price was excellent and I think this one should last a long time (I rarely have to top-up my vehicle A/C, so this one may outlast me! ).

Did the job
Worked just fine with a can of F134a in my 2016 Subaru. The only thing was maybe the hoses are a little too short and the freeon can is limited as to how much it can move and how it is positioned to give you a good view of the gage, but that was not important and it did the job. I saved a ton of money and I am happy.
