My kitty has had this for several years and I just ordered a second one as a replacement because my cat got sick on the first one. I tried to clean it thoroughly with water, but after it dried it had a very funky smell due to the catnip inside and the texture wasn't as soft as it was originally. We're keeping it for nostalgia since she's had it for so many years, but thankfully the replacement arrived a few days ago. Like the first one, my kitty was so excited that I could barely get it away from her long enough to remove the cardboard packaging. My only disappointment is that one of the feathers broke off within 10 minutes. It's still in better shape than her original one because all three feathers are long gone from that one! Hopefully this one will last a long time and bring lots of fun playtime for her. Fingers crossed that she doesn't get sick on it since it doesn't survive a bath very well.

This is the second one I had to buy because my cat licked smushed the first one into oblivion. I was so happy to find this online. He went crazy when he saw the new one, he does not play with other toys like he does with this one. It’s his all time favorite and he sleeps with it frequently. Hope they continue to make this toy because he loves it! Can’t tear him away from it.

My country indoor/outdoor cat can't get enough of this toy.She's never really enjoys toys, after all she has real living creatures to capture and play with.In her prime, there was no better mouser, but over time she has slowed down. I grow catnip (great deterrent to cats digging in my garden) so this isn't new to her. I bought this toy along with 2 other different cat toys, she didn't even notice the other two. I took a star away because the feathers came off during the first playtime, shortly followed, the appendages were ripped off. It is still the only toy she'll play with so I'm reordering despite the fact that it's less than a month old. Wish it was sewn to be stronger.

I have 6 cats and when I gave them the toy, 5 of them commenced to see if they could love it to death, and that's what they did. They pulled the red feathers off first playing with it so much. It has traveled through the house and someone left it close to my work chair at home, which means they were sharing their toy with me. High praise from a cat.

My squishy, fat black cat loves this toy so much that I had to buy another one. He ripped the first one apart (he tears up all of his toys) so I sewed it back together and ordered another for backup. He enjoys tossing it in the air, pouncing on it like he has killed it, kicking it, and walking around the house with it in his mouth while caterwauling at 4 o'clock in the morning. I purchased some of the other birds from Categories as well.

The two cats destroyed it the first day. It was fun to watch them play with it but now it's a shredded toy.

My kitties love this. Many cat toys that claim to be catnip just elicit a shrug from cats because the catnip is not strong enough. This one is being enthusiastically loved (and has already lost all its feathers in the first 20 minutes).

Very upset to discover upon arrival that this toy is made from real fur from China. Unfortunately their track record and non-existent animal rights laws speak for themselves, the fur is likely rabbit but could well be cat or dog! The cat has taken to it so I'm not returning it, but I will not buy from this brand again. Something advertised as 'organic' doesn't really go along with cruel Chinese fur farm torture, and the 'plush fabric' description ought to be clarified to indicate real fur.

Two years after buying this product (only one for two cats 😐) I want to buy more as it’s really getting tatty - my ‘chicken’ is so very loved, to the exclusion of other toys.... constant licking and playing- I’ve honestly never seen this reaction to one toy before. It has become a family favourite.I’ll be buying again as soon as they are available!

If my cats could speak ,they would say 'Don't bother buying any other toys, Just this one from now on'.They spend hours with them, ok the cat nip inside them helps I'm sure.But none the less, my cats love them.Good quality, have lasted over a year so far.

Bought for my cat as he has one he has previously rubbed himself on and drooled on til the point it is a blob of drool and bite marks! As soon as he sees this come out, his eyes are widened and I can see the excitement in his eyes! He loves it. Happy cat, happy owner! Came promptly too, thank you!

My cat adores this. It means that it already looks like it has been through the wars but that in cat terms is a definite success! Cute and fluffy and now bedraggled. Definite one for repurchase😀
