Perfect pants
These are probably my favorite pair of pants. I have them in 3 colors. They are super comfy, and perfect for running errands, going to sports, whatever. They are pretty lightweight so I don’t wear them often in winter in Chicago. But they are my go-tos for spring-fall. I don’t think they would work for going out, or getting dressed up or clubbing or something. But any kind of casual event they work. I’m 155lbs 5’5” and get a size medium, which are very loose and baggy on me.

... i don't usually write reviews but i wrote this one ...
After pages & pages of harem pant searches on Google shopping and Amazon, I ended up trying these. To give you a little background- I'm 37 and was in search of a lightweight versatile trouser, something I could wear with either Lems, flats, or a low heel. I live in the south so these would be the replacement for my shorts.I liked other harems as much but the reviews were iffy so in the end I chose these in taupe. The way I see it, taupe is a neutral enough color to start out with and I wanted to see how close to the color pictured they were. In person they're a really light tan/sand color, fairly close to the picture.I'm wearing them right now with the light blue spring edition slouchy sweater from Pact Apparel, as pictured. The only full length opportunity was in my teenage son's room so there's a lot of color happening, I'm sorry. Here's my opinion on these pants:The fit caught me off guard. At first I honestly hated them. They're not flattering on my butt at all and when I pull the legs up (like pictured) the extra material pools over the cuffs. I actually prefer them down at the ankle. The waistband almost reaches my empire waist (just under the chest) so I folded them over like yoga pants. Ideally I'd have to fold them twice to get them about where I want them (butt wise) but the problem with that is the waist pushes into my tummy and it's not really a flattering look. It also closes off the pockets. Folding over once is reasonable enough. they look fine with only one fold.I'm 5'4" tall and 122 lbs. I ordered a small based on reviews I read prior to purchase. They are supposed to be flowy and they are, but not overly so. They almost seem a little shapeless too but I have a flat butt so that's always an issue in selecting trousers.I take terrible pictures, especially when I try, so let me say this. They look a little bit better in person than in the photos I took, they're comfortable, inspire a lot of free movement- overall I'm happy with them. Like I said earlier, I hated them when I took them out of the package and tried them on but after a wash and a dry on low heat (I do worry how long before the fabric gives but I worry about that all the time anyway) they looked a lot better. They were incredibly wrinkly and it took a wash & dry and laying them flat on the table in my bedroom to stay wrinkle free. I don't recommend folding them. I noticed that when I opened mine the fabric had divots from something, which means if I used a clip hanger it would be a noticeable crimp in the fabric. I'd recommend hanging them with the flat wood trouser hanger if you have those.I bought taupe to start out with and figured if I actually liked these enough I would try some of the other colors. I normally don't buy clothing from anywhere but Pact Apparel but they don't have summer clothes out yet and I needed something for the heat that's creeping in down south. All in all I'm happy enough with these and I will almost certainly purchase them in black and a couple other colors.Good luck, darlings, I hope this helps you with your decisions!

On the fence
They are crazy comfortable and flattering but I would 100% size down. That is no joke. They are extremely stretchy and will stretch every second that you wear them. I am a size 16 and bought an XL in these and I could’ve easily probably worn a medium. If I order another pair I will order a large. I would not be scared to size down at all trust me they stretch out crazy huge. They are very thin but they are so comfy. The black were not see-through at all

Versatile, comfortable, affordable pants
In this hot summer I've been in search of a flowing pair of pants that's comfortable and fits my style, that's soft and loose enough around the waist to sit in all day at work but not fall down when I walk, preferably with pockets. The last part didn't work out so well, but otherwise they're fabulous. They look great with ankle boots, which is always how I wear them. If you're more into sandals or other shoes, they would work just fine. I've worn them to a couple of outdoor festivals in the heat and humidity of a North Carolina summer and they were comfortable enough. They have the weight of thin leggings. The fold-over waist is quite adjustable, so it really doesn't matter if you have a short or long waist. Depending on how high I pull the waist, the crotch can go almost to mid-thigh or be as high as seen in the photo. They're like lounge pants that look perfectly fine for going out in public, including my casual office. I'm not sure how they'd go over in other workplaces, but they do look like summer trousers, not jogging pants. They should be excellent for the Renaissance festival that I go to in late September/early October. In cooler weather I'll still wear them with tights underneath. After several wears and a few trips through the washer (cold water) and dryer (on medium heat), they've developed a hole in the left pocket about the size of a pencil tip. I think my iPhone 8 Plus is too heavy for them because the material is lightweight; whatever pocket I put the phone in always droops with the phone's weight anyway. I've been keeping the pocket use to a minimum, no longer than a few minutes at a time and only my phone, because that's just not what these pockets were made to do. The drooping really was to be expected and I'm not disappointed about that, and I won't take off a star because I think I was expecting too much of these pockets. (If you want to carry a small phone, nothing metal or pointed such as keys, the pockets will probably be up to the task.) Otherwise, they're exactly what I wanted. I'll certainly keep wearing them and if I need to fix the pocket, it shouldn't be hard to do. I'm thinking about buying a pair in the eggplant color.
