Couldn't believe it when I read about how well this was made for the price but wow...everything i read was true. This is not your typical cheap raincoat made with material that will rip just by looking at it. It's properly stitched with a durable zipper. There's 2 spacious pockets in the front and a convenient hood on the back that can be concealed easily if desired.I ordered a large and it fits exactly how a raincoat should, with enough extra room to comfortably wear a sweater underneath without it being too snug of a fit or getting wet.Highly recommend this product because it offers peace of mind you'll stay dry.

The jacket arrived just as we were going out for the afternoon so i went back inside, opened the box and tried on the jacket. Was a touch heavier than i had wanted but just a touch. Did not like the elastic in the wrists as first but as it was raining like crazy outside, i came to appreciate it. Jacket works like a champ. Keeps you dry for certain. Sizing was perfect. Looking now to see if i can order one for my wife. Just an outstanding waterproof jacket.

This jacket is very well made and I'm sure durable. I ordered it because it was described as light weight, but it is more on the medium to heavy side. Because of that it takes more room in your travel bag. If that doesn't matter, go for it, it will protect in even heavy rain.

I haven't worn this in the rain yet, so I'll have to reserve judgement on that. But I'm very pleased with the material and construction.The material is lightweight but by no means flimsy. It's not tissue thin and it won't tear under normal use. The zipper zips easily and the two outside pockets are deep and well protected from moisture. The seams are fully taped and done so well that you have to scrutinize the jacket to see them at all. The cuffs are tight elastic and no water will get in there. The vents under the arms are small but probably adequate and the back vent is big and will probably let any moisture escape. I haven't tried the hood.This jacket is designed big so you can wear a sweatshirt or sweater under it. There is more room in the stomach and chest than you will need.I bought this to have handy on a trip I'm going to take to Alaska next week, and I wanted something that wouldn't take up much room in my suitcase. I chose the bright orange color so my wife could locate me if we got separated.I would recommend this to anyone. It's a good buy.

I ordered this jacket based on reviews and price. The outer material seems like fabric and the inside (that touches your skin) is very plastic bordering on rubbery feeling. Why would the outside be fabric and inside rubber? I don’t know. I have returned this jacket because I didn’t care for that plastic rubbery feeling against my skin. Had the inside been more of a fabric finish, as the outside, I would have liked it better.The jacket did seem to be well made. Stitching, zipper and elastics seemed to be good quality.

Keeps user dry and warm. Light weight and true to size. Easy to carry in a backpack.

Just received my jacket... for the price the quality is superb!! The material is a nylon or polyester but I can definitely tell it will keep me dry!! The hood doesn't have draw strings but it is detachable.... only complaint I have is that it doesn't have zipper pockets... overall great rain jacket for those of us who live in rainy environments or deal with monsoons...
