RSVP Olive Wood Salt Box

Nice little salt box. I like that it’s divided with one side for coarse salt and one side for iodized. The container is also a good weight... feels solid. The sections are also big enough to get a pinch of salt with your fingers. No need for a spoon. The lid slides smoothly, and the magnet catches nicely. I did read about bugs in other reviews. Left my salt cellar in the freezer for a few days when it arrived. So far no issues.

It works perfectly. I am extremely happy with this purchase. It keeps the salt from moisture and it is so beautiful.

I love the look of my salt cellar it’s full of swirls and is the perfect size.

olive wood is supposed to be highly figured with swirls and patterns. the one they sent me is uninteresting and might as well have been made from a cheap pine. maybe I'll do some burning marks on it and brand the top or something.

Salt box looks good but cover did not fit well at all. It was warped on two sides so it would rock on the box leaving gaps so air could get in. Not well produced at all. Really thought we would get better product for that price.

Beautiful

This is a very nice item but it has a horrible odor on the inside and I can't get it out. I probably will send it back because I'm sure the salt will pick up the odor.

Very pretty, natural olive wood. I rubbed the outside with mineral oil to give it a bit more depth - I might Danish oil (but not on the inside!). Nice quality hinge and magnetic closer. It's a little bigger than I probably needed (how much salt do you need on the counter, really?) but it's a beautiful addition to my kitchen and I feel like a real chef for having a salt well.
