Cute little Brio bell for train tracks that’s not too loud yet catches a kid’s attention. It is a must have addition to a growing abrió collection.

This is pretty small but fits any wooden track. My grandson is 4 and loves anything to do with trains. It's a good addition for a wooden track. The bell rings but barely makes a sound if any.

My 8 year old loves all wooden railway and this is a great little piece to add to his collection! Brio is always great quality and this is no exception! Fun bell that dings everytime a train or tender goes across!

I like this bell because it's NOT LOUD! I can't stress that enough. It's loud enough for a kid playing with the train to hear but not obnoxiously loud if you're in the same room.The bell works better on train cars with metal wheel hubs than those with plastic wheel hubs. The red piece on the track (inside the green box) is a magnet. When a metal wheel goes past the magnet trigger, the bell goes off. It works on most of my kid's train cars. Even the ones with plastic wheels works IF they have a metal axle behind the plastic wheel.But it does make a difference if the train is leaning toward the bell or away from it. There's about a 2mm play in the track of a wooden train where the train car and wiggle back and forth. If it's sitting 2mm further away from the magnet trigger it doesn't work as well. If it's sitting 2mm closer to the magnet trigger it works great.In real world situations when you're pulling a full train of cars past the bell, I'd say 85%-90% of the wheels trigger the bell.It's not big at all. It's a very small piece. So it fits in whatever box you keep your trains in when not in use.

As a mom to five little ones, our Brio train set and all of its accessories have been our MOST used and MOST loved toy ever. I have a 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 year old and some one is ALWAYS creatively building and playing with the train set. The accessories are SO high quality and durable and well worth the price. The perfect gift!

A nice clear ring when a train passes through, works with magnets. Not too loud. Have had it for some time and it still looks like the day we bought it. Excellent quality, as always from Brio.

Overall, it's not bad for the price; however, it is pretty quiet. It would be better if there was a way to make it louder. Sometimes, you can barely hear it when the train passes by.
