Microbe-Lift Septic Tank Treatment, Original Septic System & Cesspool Treatment, 1 Gallon

I have a cesspool that I have to clean out every 2 years. I added this product recently to my cesspool, to introduce bacteria to the system to breakdown the solids in the cesspool in hopes to increase my clean out interval duration.Easy to use, smells terrible, really strong! Be sure to have proper adequate ventilation. Check out the directions for how much you should be using. When I use it, I pour it straight to the toilet and flush it down. I have the windows wide open and I leave the house for a few hours. Good value on money.

My septic tank has worked well for a long time. It is pumped about every 8 years. I use an enzyme treatment, including this one, once a year during summer when the biological activity is higher. I also use monthly tablets of bacteria. The enzymes can speed up the work of the bacteria by making more readily decomposeable organic matter. Whether this product is better than the competitors, I can't say, but they do appear to work. Even if they don't save you money from more frequent pumping, they are better for the overall system. The septic tank is a source of nutrients to nearby trees and plants around the house. Less pumping means richer soils. Septic systems do not use any energy we need to supply by electricity. When the septic tank is pumped, the contents go to treatment facilities that do use electrical energy. The nutrients that remain after treatment go to the rivers and are more widely distributed, supporting plant life along the path of the water.

My Leaching fields and septic are 25 + Years Plus old and this makes them flow like new! The Main reason I got it was to keep the grease from building up in my pump over unit, and that is functioning like new again!

I’m always a bit skeptical of these products that say they will maintain my septic system. I did a lot of research and this one gets lots of positive reviews so I feel confident that it will help me maintain my system. I’ve already replaced my leech field about 12 years ago and haven’t had any problems and I’m hoping not to have any with the newer leech field.The product has a very strong smell, just like a septic system. That’s a good thing that means there’s lots of bacteria in there. The gallon jug arrived wrapped in a plastic bag in case of any leakage. There was no leakage on mine but I was happy to see that they wrapped in plastic just in case.The gallon jug has raised graduation lines at the 32 ounce marks making it easy to pour out the proper amount each time. I like that I can measure it from the bottle directly instead of measuring it out into a cup because the stuff does stink and I don’t want to handle it anymore than I have to.Be careful when dumping it in your toilet because when using the gallon jug it’s hard not to splash the product. Anything that splashes on the toilet will certainly smell so wipe your toilet down good after dumping this and flushing it. I wore gloves and eye protection too. It says the product is safe for humans but still protect yourself.In conclusion I feel that this product will work. This is my first treatment in my system as a preventative measure. I would like to see the bottle designed in such a way where it’s easier to dump and measure into your toilet without making a mess but that’s just a little thing. I feel confident in recommending this product based on my research and other reviews.

good price first time trying this. easy to use no mixing required but does smell for a bit

Using Microbe-Lift in our septic tanks saves us $500.00 +/- each year. To keep a healthy system the tank needs to be flushed when the solids quit breaking down. Using Microbe-Lift we find that the shortest time was 5 years between having to empty the system, and the longest was 10 years. Tenants during the 5 year period had used Lye to clean clogs, Chlorine Bleach cleaning products & Chlorine Bleach in the Washing Machine. When we figured it out we went back to Non-Chlorine products, Green Gobbler for clogs & Microbe-Lift. FYI, take a deep breath & hold when you pour it in, LOL It IS almost as 'stinky' as where you're using it - However, it is an awesome product and well worth the money!!

Been using this stuff for years. It works. Never have any issues with my septic tank.

It seems to have done the trick for our system.
