Just received so I am not certain how the ball actually performs.
My physical therapist recommended I get an 8 inch Pilates ball to use at home. I purchased a different brand ball on Amazon. The other brand had a straw you stuck in the ball and manually blew up the ball. That was easy. However, no matter how many times I tried, I could not get the straw out and the plug in fast enough to stop the ball from deflating. That ball was worthless and I returned it. I somehow stumbled on this ball on Amazon which listed that it was self-plugging similar to a basketball. It arrived today and I inserted the pump, pumped up the ball with air, pulled the pump out and BOOM--it self sealed. No escaped air and no frustrated customer. The ball appears to be made from good materials and should be able to fit my needs. I gave it 5 starts just for the inflation alone. Crossing my fingers the ball works for my needs.

Perfect for my fitness class.
Perfect size for my fitness class. The ball has a slightly textured coating to aid in gripping. It’s very comfortable and it’s working out nicely. I have small hands so I have to grip with my fingertips.

easy fill exercise ball
I love this little exercise ball. It comes with a pump and no plug needed, so very easy to fill. A very cute pink color. The ball did have a very strong odor for weeks. It still smells awful up close, but it's not filling the room up with a very chemical odor.

Great small exercise ball
Love this exercise ball. I use it every day. It is thick and well made. It came with a pump and needle. It is easy to assemble and the needle stores in the pump so it won't get lost or bent. The ball is the perfect size. It is holding up well and holds its air. It is easy to inflate and deflate (for travel). It does not have a weird smell. It is great quality for the price!

Size
The size of the ball is nice and it stays inflated. I inflated it since the start of June and it has stayed it's shape ever since. It is very easy to inflate and deflate which is helpful when you store it in my bag or in the backpack.
