Excited to use this for our new home!
Bought this for our new home to have peace of mind about the front door being locked. This will be great for providing temporary access for people, locking up if we're away, and not having to check if the door is locked every night before bed. This will also integrate nicely to our Hubitat smart home z-wave system.

Best deadbolt I’ve even used.
Literally one of the best deadbolts I have ever used. So simple and clean. I love how easy it syncs with my security system. Well constructed and very nice looking.

Great but wouldn’t work with Smartthings
Great lock. Looks very nice. Only issue for me is that it wouldn’t work with my SmartThings setup and so I couldn’t use it.

Good luck hit no proximity via Bluetooth
Some of us take our privacy seriously. That includes not connecting the lock to wifi or the internet. Connecting it to the app which obviously stores data on some unknown server which could kill service at any time or even disable the lock. Glad I got the one with a backup key. That being said back to privacy, why in heavens name does this not allow one touch opening with Bluetooth alone? You have to enable gps, which allows the vendor to track your movements as well as profile when you are home or not. Bluetooth could be paired that when it sees the lock it allows for the exact same function without gps and divulging your location. Then the lock is blind to the world outside of geolocation via the phone cellular triangulation.Make a Bluetooth lock which uses every other technology for proximity that is not needed, warranted, or secure for the user. One can realize that Alfred knows where every lock is located via gps and it's geofence. We have no idea if they can read our codes, but we all should expect they can. Thus they know where the lock is, and where the code is. And of course no systems EVER get hacked and allow this data to be public! So as rogue elements could get the data, geolocation of the lock and simply walk into your home.If Alfred was to decouple gps and simply use Bluetooth as the proximity trigger, it would be far more secure from the lock, from the app, and from the simply fact the location data is not known to anyone.Seems for a company that sells locks they should have pondered this threat vector, but apparently developers are idiots and so are companies when it comes to protection of PII.Seems like a good lock with nice functions, but I guess I'll have to change all the codes, delete the app and my account at Alfred home and manually I put all codes so they are not stored anywhere in the cloud.Seems like this would be important for those that decided to pick a lock that wasn't directly tied to Alexa, google, apple, or other services that provide a clear security risk in unlocking your home.Outside of that, the lock functions as expected. The only trick they left out is make sure the flat pin thy goes in the lock is up/down aligned with the knob inside when you install the flat barrel fitting in the back side of the lock. I had to disassemble it once to change that so the knob and all would indicate locked/unlocked correctly.
