The new Ergonomic RELIEF mouse looks alot like its competitor, but its at an Affordable price! Its lighter in weight (so its easier on the wrist) and has the unique vertical quality, allowing your wrist to RELAX and get RELIEF from twisting over- like a traditional mouse makes your wrist bend. This is a great bargain, and at such a low price, for instant relief! Try an ergonomic mouse, and you'll know why you'll never want to use those other mice again!

Best for test driving a more expensive vertical mouse
I have had this 9 days as of this review- and to be fair I use my computer 8-10 hours a day.Suffering from hand (fingers) and wrist pain using a regular mouse, so I first tried a mouse that was at more of a 45 degree angle and it just shifted the pain to my forearm.Been wanting the more expensive evoluent verticalmouse, but was hesitant because of the high cost, so I figured it couldn't hurt to try this.First thing I noticed is the mouse is huge- those with large hands should find it comfortable, but mine are on the borderline. (Evoluent's hand size guide says over 7 inches wrist to tip of middle finger is large, under 7 inches is small- of course mine is exactly 7.)Even so this is uncomfortably large to my hand- perhaps its the way I hold it, but the center ridge pushes on the web between my thumb and forefinger, making it buzz or go numb. If I slide my hand further back so it doesn't do that, my fingers just barely reach the spot where they are supposed to rest. Its not causing finger/wrist/arm pain, but it is annoying that it tends to make that thumb/finger space of my hand tingle. I think a smaller version would work much better, but they only offer one size. :(The biggest drawback is that today the scroll wheel, which I use regularly, is beginning to go wacky- its like 3 steps forward, 2 steps back. While you're scrolling down a page it will just start bouncing back up on its own, before it catches and goes down again, then repeats. Makes it quite difficult to follow a list or anything when you're scrolling down.Have not contacted seller about this yet, but not sure a replacement wouldn't do the same thing, as another customer also complained about bad scrolling.I have pretty much decided I am going to go ahead and get the evoluent, but will be sure to select the SMALL size. It's definitely better to spend 20ish bucks finding out if a close to $100 mouse is going to work for you rather than blowing the 100 and finding out it isn't comfortable. In my area, there's no physical store within 60 miles has the evoluent for sale (let alone on display) so you can see how they feel in your hand, so I had no choice but to order online without testing it, until this came along.Too bad they couldn't make it a little more durable for a little bit more money, then it would be an excellent alternative vertical mouse. But as it is, again, its best used a test drive, because whether you find you like it or not, it's not made to hold up very long unless you barely use your computer.I'll give it a middle of the road rating because it does serve a purpose as a tester, but just don't expect to get long term use out of this.TL;DR: made for large hands; scroll wheel stopped working right after 9 days, no more wrist/arm trauma.

Carpal tunnel GOODBYE!!!
I work with computers like 7-8 hrs per day and have had carpal tunnel quite badly in my right dominant wrist (mouse hand). Was talking to guy at work and he showed me his mouse and I said does it really work and he told me about his carpal tunnel issues just going away after beginning to use this type of mouse. He told me don't buy the uber expensive mouse, but this one that I'm writing about and am I glad I did. He was right, GOODBYE & ADIOS carpal tunnel. LOVE THIS THING!!! Mouse works well enough for my daily computer work, so I would think unless you are into really precision mousing, then this will work for 99% of your type of computer work.

It works GREAT and it is now 2015
I bought this in 2012 in the hopes that it would relieve strain on my wrist and allow me to continue using my computer. The situation was dire. It works GREAT and it is now 2015. I use it 30+ hours per week, every week. The price was the best out there for a vertical mouse. It has two buttons and a scroll wheel. Works great. No problems. The finish is matte and not slick. I use it on a desktop, it doesn't require a mousepad. It helps to keep the desk clean.

Good mouse, great customer service
Not quite as nice as the Evoulent vertical mouse (almost $90), but at a much nicer price and it works just fine. Amazon service was great... the mouse I received had an intermittent connection.. kept connecting / disconnecting. I contacted the seller through Amazon and they promptly shipped me a new one, no questions asked, no need to return the defective one. That's good service. Replacement works great, much easier on the wrist for extended use. Don't let the product picture fool you... you can't see the wire in the picture, but it's not wireless, just a good wired vertical mouse at a great price.

It works well.. you get what you pay for.
It's $1 per angle... I paid $30 dollars and I hold this mouse at about a 30-degree angle, whereas the original vertical mouse is $90 but 90-degrees. Only problem is that sometimes the connectivity is bad and the LED goes out and the mouse doesn't respond, so I have to adjust the cord. This is a WIRED mouse, not like what the picture says. It works and helps me from developing hand problems.

Over the time i began to strongly face ache
Buy this mouse because my hands hurt. I started using and found it excellent, but over time I began to strongly face ache right side, the same side that used the mouse. I also hand hurt but in a different way than before. So I stopped using it and eventually left me hurting the side of the face. Maybe it's something that only happens to me.

20$ and good!
i had the evoluent 3. I did not feel like buying it again after leaving it at my last job. it got very greasy quickly from your fingers and was too "fat" where my hand would go numb. This one is a bit more slim and has a really nice scroll mouse. It gets the job done in terms of simplicity, only two buttons but for $20 I could buy 4 of these to 1 ev mouse.

Graphic artists with shoulder and elbow problems should try this
I have worked with a mouse for 8+ hours a day doing intricate graphics work for 15 years. My shoulder and elbow ache a lot. My favorite has been the kensington mouse in a box because it's size fits my smaller hand. The mac mice seem very sluggish and heavy and most other mice put my hand into a contorted arch. I acclimated to this immediately. It feels light, my hand is at a more natural angle, and the response is good. I had no problems plugging it into a mac and a pc -- both recognized it immediately. After I tried the first one, I immediately bought 2 more for the other computers I work on. I'm trying to get my company to offer this as an alternative mouse.
