So....I have purchased 2 freeze sleeves direct from their website and love them! But $10 shipping is rough. I found it on Amazon and thought, awesome! No shipping! This is a legit freeze sleeve. It has the tag with the number stamped and everything...but it's not like the ones I got from their website. Maybe it's the way they're stored when shipped from Amazon? I'd say it was just a bad one, but there are many reviews that say they're flimsy and only stay cold 5-10 mins. That is not true of the ones I got from their site...but absolutely true of the one I got on Amazon.The Amazon one doesn't really compress because when I stretch it to slide it on my ankle (it's a small, I have very skinny ankles and legs) it never compresses back around my ankle. It stays cold maybe 10 minutes, and by about 30 isn't cold at all. It is also very flimsy even right after pulling it from the freezer.The two I bought from the website are the total opposite. They are always nice and compressed, and VERY cold. They stay cold for probably 45 mins to an hour easy, though only VERY cold for maybe 20-25 minutes. But that's what they're supposed to do. I actually wore one on my ankle for about 30ish mins, then put that same one on my elbow for another 15-20 and it was still cold! They also are still flexible, but have a very noticeable firmness to them when you first pull them from the freezer that the Amazon one doesn't.So 4 stars because the product itself is amazing, but I was not impressed with ordering from Amazon. Again, maybe its storage, maybe its something else. I'll still use this one, but I'll definitely be ordering from the freeze sleeve site if I need more.

Nice product, does exactly what it says, provides cryotherapy. As a medical professional with over 40 yrs experience, I can tell you cryotherapy should last about 15-20 mins in order to prevent damage to the skin and cells beneath. This product stays cold long enough for just that. It warms as a result of skin temperature and convective loss. I would strongly recommend using a sleeve underneath, and using the product no more than three to four times per day. The reason it begins to feel warm is because it has reduced peripheral nerve sensations (what cryotherapy does), hence the need to protect the skin from potential cold injury. In a nutshell, its a bit more expensive than it probably should be, but its a quality product, that does more than a decent job. I'm happy with my purchase, and my testimony is not endorsed in any way.

The cold factor on these things don't last nearly long enough - maybe I got defective ones somehow but I seriously don't think they lasted even ten minutes of effective coldness. I am giving them two stars because the concept is great, I really wanted to like them, but I'm returning them because for the price they should really last longer as a cold compression.

As a 50 year old engineer with arthritis in both knees I have learned to live with pain and swollen knees however I’ve also learned to spot a simple but effective engineering solutions to everyday problems and that is way I decided to buy and now recommend the Freeze Sleeve. This product has helped me with the issue with my knees which in turn has allowed me to push my at home training and continue to fight against old age. I highly recommend this product!

Maybe I received a fake item but do not waste your money on this knee ice sleeve. I have my freezer set for -8 F and I left the sleeve in my freezer for 48 hours. When I used the sleeve it wasn’t very cold compared to gel ice packs and it only stayed cold for 5 minutes. You are better off buying three 9 x 4.5 kinetics ice packs and getting a knee wrap with multiple straps and three pockets to ice. I do this and icing is much mire affective this way.

LOVE IT. The rest of the review calls for ALL CAPS due to my actual level of excitement, but I won't. I bought one as a tester, two days later I bought 3 more (another arm and both legs). Now, it's only been a week but I can't imagine the product is going to change. They freeze well, they're cold a reasonable amount of time. I feel so good. If you're thinking about it buy it.

I have arthritis in both knees, unfortunately at a very young age. I’m still very active and healthy so after a workout my knees are usually in a lot of pain. I’ve tried oversized ice packs, bags of ice, regular cold packs. Nothing works like this product. I’ve gotten burned before from an ice pack being too cold. This product is a game changer. The cold with addition to compression encapsulates the entire knee and provides cold therapy to a large area. As far as the reviews saying it only stays cold for 15-20 minutes, yes. And that’s EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. My doctor always tells me to ice no more than 20 minutes at a time. It doesn’t get so cold that it burns or is uncomfortable. You can walk around the house while wearing it. It’s great. Measure the area you are applying it to appropriately and you can’t go wrong. I measured in an XL size and it fits perfectly. I bought one initially to try it out and immediately bought one for the other knee after one use.

Dont use the bag they send you. It leaks and ruins your sleeve. I learned the hard way. I had it 1 day. Took it to a tournament. Put it in the cooler on top of the ice and by 6 pm it had fallen into the ice and water and the ziplock style baggie they supply leaked and the sleeve was ruined. They say you can dry it out but its never the same. The get is 30% bigger and leaks out this greasy liquid into the fabric.
