Perfect for experimenting!
I was building a natural gas burner for a DIY coffee roaster. With these orifice "blanks", I was able to use a numbered drill bit set to slowly dial in to the exact size orifice that gave me the proper flame color and BTU output I was looking for! HINT: Start out by drilling to small of an orifice, then work your way up from there. I ended up needing extras, because I inevitably went with too large of an orifice, then needed to go back down a few sizes.
