I’ve been using these for several years, and can not say enough good things about them. When I 1st bought them (from a different company), they were advertised as Shower Caps, so I used them as such. They last FOREVER. The caps are large enough to fit, comfortably, over my large head/thick hair. The elastic is unbelievably long-lasting, and the cap, itself, does not get a soap-film haze to it. ...Honestly, I have recommended these to all my friends. .....I used to use Shower Caps from the Dollar Store, because any Shower Cap I’d used, lasted just a few weeks, anyway, since the elastic would stretch out by then. The Dollar Store’s 8-for-a-dollar ones were best for me, ‘til I found these. These really are just what I needed, but could never find. ..... The elastic was just starting to go on my last one.... AFTER 10 mo. of daily use! ....... These caps are truly THE BEST I have ever found. Highly recommended.

Great value for the money! They really help enhance those dye results by sealing in the heat coming from your head and the dye. Also great for deep conditioning treatments that need to sit.

Totally disappointed with this product I bought this because I was trying to find ACTUAL caps that are FOIL since a lot of people were saying that other caps are plastic caps painted silver. I saw that someone wrote a review on this exact product and stated that they are made of real aluminum. I had my speculations but decided to be sure for myself so i placed one of the caps in the microwave along with a smal piece of regular aluminum (the kind you use in the kitchen) to see what would happen. If you know anything about metals you’ll know that it takes A LOT OF HEAT for aluminum to melt not just some warmth from the microwave. As I suspected these caps are in fact PLASTIC AND NO REUSABLE!!!! The cap literally destroyed my heat resistant glove however the spot where I put the price of aluminum just felt warm not even hot! (I put them in the microwave for 20seconds. I will be returning these and getting my money back for faulty advertisement!!!!!

This is great in deep conditioning my hair.

Tried these over a number of months.1) They don't noticeably retain any heat. My head didn't feel warm (it actually felt cold as soon as the warmth from being in the bath dissapated) and when I removed the cap (1 hour after applying), I could feel with my hand that my wet hair (with hair mask) had gotten COLD.2) The silver comes off the cap on the first use, leaving clear plastic. So, no, it's not reusable (as stated in the product description.Even bigger question: where does that aluminum coating go? Does it seep into your pores and poison you? Does it go down the drain and poison the water supply? All I know is - it's no longer on the cap. So besides not working, I'm guessing these are bad for you and bad for the environment. That sucks.
