I was using another brand (arm and hammer) to brush my puppy teeth but that one had beef flavor and baking soda on it it helped to get rid of tartar, but everytime was a struggle my dog hated it, I ordered this one to try something different OMG my life change since de very first use he was so excited to use this like if it was a treat, so yeah makes waaaaay easy the toothbrushing experience that makes it so worth it, we got the poultry flavor, he loves it, also is not sticky so I love the texture, i will have to wait if prevents plaque form but after 2 uses me and my dogs loves it

We’ve been using Petrodex Toothpaste for Dogs and Puppies with our Golden Retriever since he was a puppy, and now at 5 years old, he has no teeth or dental issues! We brush his teeth regularly with this toothpaste, and I truly believe it has made a big impact on the longevity and overall health of his teeth. I couldn’t find the poultry flavor of Virbac CET toothpaste (my dogs don’t like most other toothpastes) so I tried this one. One of the dogs immediately thought it was a treat. The other, who is a chow hound, seemed not to like the smell, but once I got her to taste it, she liked it. Hard to say how well it performs compared to other toothpastes for cleaning, but I give it 4 stars simply because my dogs like it, and that makes brushing their teeth possible.

I've tried powders, like 4 jars of it, no different. This a few times a week made a big difference. My dogs had bad teeth, now they're only borderline hazardous. Sometimes we brush, others just slip it in a lick pad. Just needs to get in their mouth and don't let them eat before or after for a bit. Just ordered 4 more.

My dog has rejected other toothpastes but seems to be into this one!

I have used this product for many years. The last tube I received seemed slightly thicker than usual. Several days after using it I realized that there was a hole in the tube. Unfortunately, since I usually purchase these well in advance, it was a few days past the return window. It is a great product, however. Just wish I had noticed the defect sooner.
