Great brushes! The set includes excellent sizes, they look beautiful, feel comfortable, and hold water and pigment well. I highly recommend them!

I love these Da Vinci spin tops. I think I have most of them now. I rely on them for consistency. This set was on sale; so I grabbed it up. Glad I did. I feel better when I am not missing anything. This is an expensive excuse for “I want it”. But, these DaVinci brushes are worth the grumbling from my husband. I really do love them for watercolor painting.

Better than expected. Even better than the real squirrel-fur brush I bought from Da Vinci last year. Bristles form a sharp tip and no strays. Smooth feel across paper even with wet on dry

Soft with just enough spring. I already had a Casaneo quill and decided to splurge on these. Not as big as I thought, but they are nice! Attatched is a comparison to my fingers. Really great tips when wet. one photo is a comparison between two of the same size, one is a princeton elite brush.

To be honest, these are my favorite watercolor brushes. They absorb a lot of water but maintain a fine-point tip. I love the control I can have in every trace without having to dip the brush every second in the paint.

I added this set to a great collection of brushes i own, i enjoyed having a set that is a little more forgiving when it comes to using with more intensity. Kolinsky are generally more delicate and these play a great role in my watercolor paintings. They hold less water, but they behave very well compared with regular synthetic brushes, specifically tapers to a good point, snaps back really good and holding water is good. Good alternative to natural hairs. worth it the money for sure.

I have an embarrassingly large collection of watercolor brushes—mostly natural hair (kolinsky sable, red sable and squirrel) and until now, had never found a synthetic brush I wanted to use.The Casaneo brushes have definitely changed that. They have a fabulous point that allows fine detail even in the largest brush, hold and release water beautifully, and have the perfect combination of flexibility and snap for me. I am completely sold on these, and find myself reaching for them over my “nicer” more expensive natural hair brushes.
