Howard Huang's Urban Girls Hardcover – October 15, 2010

Pun intended! I own this book for a year now, and still fun to look at, I also own the Big Butt book...I love this one better!It would have been even better if there were some words or poetry from some known booty lovers, Sir Mix A Lot or Sisqo...I can only dream ;)Photography is also a hobby of mine, I found his Photoshop skills very well done.Its a shame most photographers of women ignore women of color, the creation of 'urban' magazines like King, Blackmen, ASIS gave a venue for women that the mainstream two 'P', men's magazines not have as centerfolds; these women are exotic, lovely and true 'girls next door'.A high five to Dian Hanson of Taschen for creating a book that I can truly enjoy from jacket cover to last page!

If you are a fan of voluptous/curvy models of mostly black & latino ethnicity (but does have one curvy blonde) or beautiful motorcycles- this book has some serious "eye-candy" and has superb photography & much sexier layouts than Hugh Heff's PB. Even has a bio section with the model's names & body measurements!

Of course these images are meant to enhanced the beauty of the models but many dont need it. They have a natural beauty that comes across from the book to your imagination, with storytelling abound in every page that I remember. I certainly enjoy it.

buy this product for a friend's birthday, when you give it charm, the pictures are very well made, plus he is a lover of Bubbies

frankly, found it disappointing as most of the pics therein are gleaned from magazines like Show etc ; also, the advertisement for this book in Taschen is misleading to a certain extent.The book, on the other hand, is well laid out.

Good pictures, great work done in this book. I think it should be added there is NO nudity in this book, just lots of skin. I love most of the body styles he chose and it makes a great coffee table style book as well.

Excellent hardcover book, with tons of information and of course fantastics photos. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of doing Glamour photography, as many of the photo sessions are dissected and you are able to see the process from beginning to end.

Urban Girls book was average.There was nothing to look foward to .However, it is bad when the editors of the book review their own book and expect people to fall for it.Let the customers review the book and leave their honest opinion.If the book sucks that just the case.
