Amazing item!
Well, well. I must say that these are fantastic! When you put them in where the toilet seat will be installed they are tight, but after a bit you can make then go in.One in and you start to install the seat's fittings it compacts and stuffs itself into the holes where the fittings go, it becomes really secure and more or less immobilises the fittings with superb grip.We are all hearty people in our home and need a good fittings because of it.These are awesome and I don't think we will need to get anymore for quite some time ^^Trust me, they are worth every penny ^^

Effective soloution to a common problem
Great item that solves a common everyday problem, it is easy fitting and sturdy , however there is a small caveat.A few days after initial fitting i found that the seat was moving again, on investigation i was quite surprised to find that both fixings were very loose, I must assume that after initial fitting that the item "settles" and as its a rubber construction under tension from the two bolts, that it further compresses thus allowing new movement. Since re-tightening around 2 weeks ago, the seat barely moves anymore.

Fantastic!
Fantastic mounts and so much better than the wing nut and bung style fixings that came with the toilet seat. For me, they always either work loose or strip the thread as soon as the seat is moved a few times. I wouldn’t even attempt to use the other style after having these.Super simple to use and you know instantly that you’re getting a really positive fixing as your tightening the screw.Don’t hesitate, buy some of these!

Good as a temporary measure
They do the job but I find they shift and I don't like that. I have previously bought hard plastic ones and they held better. I will likely replace these with the other type

Really pleased. Loo seat finally tight.
I purchased a new soft close toilet seat. The fixings were a bit flimsy considering how much the seat cost. Eventually they gave up and the seat just moved everywhere. The new fixings are great so far. Can be screwed in tightly. Really pleased. Loo seat sorted.

Easy to install, hope they're as easy to replace at some point
Used these to replace some similar fittings that were not put in properly. Those fittings proved much more difficult to remove than their replacements were to install. Found a short video online on how to position the fittings and secure the toilet seat. All good now. Hope I don't have to replace them any time soon, and that if I ever do, they're easy to remove.

Wasn't suitable for my toilet seat
I bought a wickes soft close seat to replace the original. The plastic fittings supplied didn't fit my pan as the holes seemed to be conical in size, narrowing. This had never been an issue in the past. I thought these rubber fittings would solve the issue. They inserted easily, looked like they'd done the job as a spacer grip, but seat was moving in and out of the fittings when lifting or on closing the seat or lid. I ended up shaving the distal ends of the wickes fittings with a blade, and the seat is now secure. I think these will be more suited to standard toilet seat bolt fittings, where the seat bolts have a back butterfly nut which can be tight against the porcelain, but the actual bolts are loose in the holes.
