I never saw the day I would even consider buying a headlamp - it just never even crossed my mind as something I could possibly need. Very wrong indeed. Bought these for a recent camping trip and they were INVALUABLE! And for such a reasonable price! They made camping SO easy! Setting up a tent in the dark: no worries, bright light for that...late night trips to the bathroom: not a problem, dimmed light perfection...reading before bed: red light special...and while I didn't need to use it for camping, the blinking light is great for safety. The headset was super easy to use. It's slim fit design was lightweight and non-intrusive and I love that you can easily change the angle of the beam. The only thing I would change is perhaps add a small piece of foam or something to the plastic that sits on the forehead, just to make a little more comfortable. But, I would certainly not let that stop me from purchasing again!After camping, I was so in love, I bought a few more - one to keep in my nightstand for bedtime reading (way better than a book light!), one for in the car in case of emergencies, and one for general around the house use if needed. I really feel like this hands free method is something I'll find tons of uses for.

A very good light for the price - I paid $10. I think the white light is bright enough to see what you're doing for most any house or car repair tasks. The light angle can be adjusted downward about a 45+ degree angle - at the maximum angle and looking straight ahead it will shine on the ground about 8 feet in front of you. The elastic band is removable if you need to clean it. My only comment is that the band may not be long enough for larger heads - my hat size is 7 1/4 and I've got the band extended almost all the way so that it's secure on my head but not too tight (don't like things too tight); it will stretch to fit much larger heads.

This headlights sucks the button stopped working the first time I used it with new batteries I returned it for a refund and will not buy again I suggest just nutting up and getting a black diamond headlamp or something like that

Batteries don't last long and why do I need to cycle through 4 light options and a flashing red light, who needs that? Other than that it's cheaply priced and is comfortable.

light too small

Just received yesterday and tried it out already. At first it wouldn't turn on after inserting 3 brand new Duracell alkaline batteries. I tried 3 other brand new batteries and still nothing worked. I was getting a bit frustrated that I potentially received a defective product. I strapped it on my head to check the comfort of the band, pressed the button multiple times again, and finally the light came on. Hallelujah! I took it out for a walk and it worked perfectly to light my path in front of me. The red steady and red flashing lights do nothing to light the path, so I'd have to use those only for others to see me but not for me to see the ground in front of me. The low light setting was perfect though, so I'll likely only need to use that setting. Now I wait to see how long one set of batteries will last, and if I deem it good enough to use rechargeable batteries.

The reason I rated it 4 stars is because I have not really used it yet, except for testing it. I received it yesterday & it's great! It was so easy to install batteries and to operate - just1 green push button controls the 4 different light situations: high density or normal white light in the center, 2 outer red lights (to help you see better at night outdoors, and 2 blinking outer red lights to be seen better while walking outdoors at night. I will be ordering 9 more for Christmas presents for my kids & grand kids, who love the outdoors. I needed mine for doing some electrical work in a dark tight space of the house. Very convenient.

This is a nice little light for under $10 I have several higher priced headlamps and this one is every bit as bright as those. A few things I wish it had was 2nd click off instead of having to go through all modes to get to off. But I can put up with that for the price. It is comfortable to wear but not as comfortable as my Diamond headlight. The headlight will adjust to shine down but I noticed that when adjusting the light it really makes a cheap click not like the better lights that seem to have a better quality build but about 5 times the price. The light beam is spot and beam combined so you get both in the 2 white modes. This light will work well for walking the dog and doing projects around the house.
