Temporary fix until you get new Headphones.
They are definitely not the same quality or materials as the OEMs. Most of my rating is what I see forthcoming in the next three months, as I wear these headphones for hours each day. The foam and the vinyl are of lessor quality, so I'll give it two to six months. As for the removal of the old earpiece and installation of the new? It was a nightmare for me. The adhesive on the OEM is beyond space age bonding. There is a thin foam sandwiched between the adhesive film and the earpiece back-plate, which tears or rips as you pry off the OEM earpiece. In order to get the best adhesion with the new earpiece, you need a clean surface that is clear of all the old material. This is the not so fun, tricked and not treated nightmare. 90% Rubbing Alcohol and lots of elbow removed the thin foam layer, which took about an hour. What remained was a thin plastic film adhered to the diaphragm cover. I have no words to describe how difficult it was removing this film, again using the alcohol and lots of elbow. This stuff would not just peel up. The make matters insane, this stuff turned into little glue balls, some of which got inside the diaphragm cover resting on the diaphragm itself. I removed the cover to get easy access to clean them out but the diaphragm is attacked to the cover. I had to resort to using sharp tip electronic tweezers and a 10X magnifying lens to get them out. If you have a cat, go someplace other than your computer desk as the diaphragm will attract cat hairs onto itself. The other OEM earpiece is fine, so I left it alone. I doubt that I will ever consider it should it wear or become damaged. For the time, effort, cost and trouble of the new earpiece this just isn't worth it in my opinion. Again, I don't expect the replacement to last beyond three months.11/24/20 Update: Upgraded to 3.8 stars specifically for their sound and noise canceling performance, and that they are holding together and staying attached well. This far I have only replaced one ear-pad of the initial OEM pairs. I can't tell the difference in the sound and the wearing, only by noting the difference of normal wear appearance on the remaining OEM ear-pad. I no longer sleep wearing these headphones, which is what I believe caused one of the OEMs to become unattached.

One ear pad refuses to stay attached. Think I did everything right.
One ear pad refuses to stay attached to ear phone. Think I did everything right during installation.

Look and feel pretty legit
The media could not be loaded. Honestly my original ear pads were so deteriorated I can’t tell if these are better or worse quality than original. They look and feel pretty legit. They were also the only pads I could find with the curve on the ear pad for the charger. I bought covers to protect these new ones from sweat. I even made a video on how to install them. I love them

works like a charm, looks like new!
Always had a problem with the originals peeling away. I ordered these replacements and I can tell you it’s like my headphones are new again. Not only do they feel and look great but gone is the nagging stuffing the leather into the little slot to try to keep it looking nice. The install was simple and quick and the instructions were thorough and simple enough as well

Adhesion was terrible. Order some superglue the same time you order these
As for the cushioning aspect, they are soft. Just like the originals. My warning is the adhesive is garbage. I even removed all the previous glue the first pads left. I put these on and held them on hard for about 5 minutes each side and they fell right off. I had to use super glue to hold them on. They were the proper size, just didn't want to stay on. They should just come with superglue instead of the adhesive tape.

Don't fit Beats 3
Quality fine, but too small for Beats 3 headphones.

I found a product that works for me
The earpads on my wireless headphones (yup, before Bluetooth) had deteriorated terribly and needed to be replaced. I had a difficult time finding a replacement due to sizing issues. I spotted these and they were the right diameter, and I didn't want problems with the sleeves to attach them. I knew that this pair with the 3M adhesion would work perfectly. I paid a bit more than I wanted to, but they are awesome. I'm a happy camper. Regards, GC

Works like original
Perfect fit as an original and easy to apply. Being said that, expect the removing of the sticky residue from the worn out pad to be tedious and time consuming. I used baby cream and vinegar and lots of tissues and it took me a whole afternoon’s worth of work.
