a very good quality solar battery pack, works in sunny conditions....
item arrived today, followed instructions plugged in my phone charger to fully charge battery pack. i used my samsung galaxy j4+ phone charger cable, lights were flashing to indicate charging,no problems there, battery pack is heavy but looks well made, opened up to inspect solar panels there was a very tiny white mark on one panel, but hopefully this wont affect it,tested the light fuction all working fine, nice leather effect case. i will write a full product reveiw once i have tested it fully when using the sun to charge the battery pack (so no rating just yet) i will use this when going camping as wont have any power points to charge my phone etc.this should come in handy. i will charge the battery pack when im out and about to see how well it performs in all conditions (sunny, cloudy etc)... overall a good value solar panel battery pack. (I WILL GIVE THIS A STAR RATING ONCE I HAVE FULLY TESTED THIS HENCE 1 STAR) i cant test it until good weather and when i go camping in september..** UPDATE**so last night i fully charged the solar charger to full (it took overnight to fully charge so a good 11 hours or so)so i opened up the solar panels this morning and placed it in the sun by my kitchen window (fully open) and the green light came on straight away so it obviously it works in sunny conditions, and all the blue lights were flashing indicating a charging so it works ok. charging my phone seems to be ok too as soon as i plugged in my cable it started to charge straight away, so no problems yet, hopefully it will be very usefull when im on my camping holiday as there are no charging points at the campsite im staying at.. so overall rating is very good, i would recommmend this product for people going camping or festivals etc, you can plug in a blutooth speaker at the same time as charing your phone(but will test it out) so overall a very good product..

Enough power to charge a couple of phones for a few days. Has solar panels.
This is a large, solar powered battery. I used it as a second battery when going camping for a couple of days. This was used to charge my DSLR batteries, I got 2 or 3 partial charges before losing 1 LED of charge on the device. The first thing I noticed is that it is quite bulky, and quite heavy, compared to a non solar-powered battery.I'm not sure what to make of the solar powered element; I fully charged the battery via the plug and then opened the solar panels and stuck it next to a window, it told me it was charging via solar power. The only points I will note: it is not a fast charger. It takes closer to 4 hours to charge my S7 Edge than the normal 2 hours of a quick charger, but I'm not overly bothered by it. I was able to chuck it in my bag to take to work and charge my phone whenever I needed to for the better part of 2 weeks before I had to consider charging it again. The other point I will note is that when my S7 Edge is fully charged, the charging stops. Whereas if left plugged in, the phone will draw from the plug, it's not the case with this battery.I expect the solar powered element will be used in an emergency to trickle charge a phone, it's just useful enough to be a bit more than a gimmick.I would certainly not use this with an inverter to plug in a laptop with a wall plug, I don't know what kind of loss there would be, I expect quite a lot. It would probably keep a laptop with a USB-C charger going for a while (as long as you're not playing a graphics intensive game, obviously). As a secondary/tertiary battery it absolutely has it's place. As a primary battery I would say it's uses are limited to a lot of phone charges or some laptop charge. I wouldn't rely on the solar charging for much.

Great bit of kit!
This solar battery is just what I needed. I do a lot of hiking in Cumbria and need a decent battery to keep my phone charged. I take my drone and GoPro which both use mobile apps, I also use my mobile for navigation so it's vital that I don't run out of battery power.I fully charged the device upon receiving it and have been sat out in the garden for hours on end each day over the past week with my phone charging from it, with the decent weather the charge level on the battery hasn't dropped at all. When I go hiking I intend to strap it to the outside of my rucksack so it can charge on the move.It is a bit bulkier and heavier than other battery packs but at 540g not by a huge amount, my other battery pack with a single solar panel on the back of it weighs 350g.I disagree with those that say it's too heavy and bulky to take hiking, as already mentioned I carry a drone, the controller, my GoPro, along with food, drink, jacket etc in my bag and this fits fine and doesn't make a great deal of difference.

Incredibly Useful
I have taken this item camping and it was able to charge my devices perfectly and I also use it at home to charge my earphones. It does however take a while to charge back up to full capacity using only the sun (which is what I always do). Apart from that it is very useful and is great if you have no other means of power, so why not the sun. Only issue is that after a few months, some of the material holding the solar panels in place has started to peel.

Great charger
Bought this 2 years ago and use it for festivals, camping trips, holidays and just general usage in the garden. Lasts a really long time when charged and I use the solar to top it up, would always recommend charging initially via the mains as it will take forever to charge from scratch just with solar!Would definitely recommend this over the small 1 charge type of chargers you can get. Folds up pretty compact aswell
