I purchased these prayer beads for a friend and a set for myself. For the price I expected something of lesser quality. I couldn't have been more wrong!! These beads are exquisite, they have a silky luxury to them. The rosewood is subtle and had a wonderfully subtle scent. The beads are divided with either agate or jade beads. The cord they are on is elastic and very was to move through your hand. Hoi can see the quality and pride that had gone into the making of these beads. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate the workmanship and beauty I f these beads. You will love having a set and giving them too.

To say I was skeptical of the quality of this necklace would be an understatement. I read the reviews and looked at multiple dealers. I am happy to say that I was wrong in my skepticism. The necklace/bracelet is beautiful and has a good weight to the beads. The "hippo" is actually an elephant but that's what I assumed anyways. I was able to wrap the bracelet 4 times around my wrist to make a tight feel without any threat of it breaking. I am very impressed with the elasticity and overall quality of this product. I will defenitly buy more. 5/5 !

The string binding it is stretchy, elastic, so it can bounce back in your face if you pull too hard! But the beads are wooden, lovely rosewood, I can wind it around my wrist 5 times as a bracelet or wear it around my neck! Love it!

The color is true to the photograph and the beads are a nice small size and of good quality. I love that the band the beads are strung on is elastic as it makes it very easy to slip on to my wrist. It also feels lovely in the hand and is very comforting. The only thing I do not like is that the charm is not glass or a stone but clear plastic. in the photo it looked a little green. Other then that it is a wonderful product.

Be careful! Though well made and pretty, these are not what I would call prayer beads due to their size. I would have given 5 stars but I felt the unusual size should have been highlighted.

Only thing I have to say negative is that there is a swastika on the necklace, and not everyone is educated on the history and significance of the symbol in Buddhism. Other than that, it's a lovely set of beads and it doesn't feel cheap for the price. It's easy enough to remove the green charm if you can't have it on yourself like myself. (I'm a barbering student and it wouldn't be okay for me to have this on around clients.)

The little charm is plastic, not stone (you can see some of the marks from the mould), and because the beads are on elastic, they can really tug at the little hairs around your wrist. Otherwise, great product, good quality.
