Will buy this for life!!!!
As a I started to get a receding hairline in the front from wearing headbands, processing, age etc. my forehead was getting huge, all from hair loss. I started also seeing not only breakage but thinning at temples. As a medical provider I knew minoxidil could be effective but wanted to try. It says needs 4 months of consistent use before you’d see regrowth. I would say after 4-6 weeks of actually using less than recommended in dropper twice a day my hair is growing back wonderfully. There were days when I missed treatments but overall I couldn’t be more happy!!! My only problem is that these tiny little grow back hairs are unruly but I’m happy to use some morrocan oil to smooth them out. I’ll be fine to do the maintenance on this as long as it works!!!

IT WORKS!
I have had fine hair my whole life and I really couldn’t afford to lose any so when the premenopausal hair loss kicked in, I panicked. It was noticeable and I couldn’t hide it with strategic parts or styling. I read reviews and gave this product a try and I honestly wish I had done before and after pictures. It worked great for me. I first noticed it was working when the top of my head started to look like someone had rubbed a balloon on my scalp lol. I had baby hair sprigs sticking out everywhere. I’ve been using this for roughly a year and I am still seeing new growth. It just works. I’m not great about doing it twice a day either, I mostly just do it after washing my hair (which I do daily) and I still saw incredible results. When it dries on wet hair it leaves no residue and I can style my hair like normal as this does not interfere with the look of my hair at all. It’s worth a try if you’re experiencing hair loss, just be patient and give it time to work. Remember, you’re growing hair and that takes time but it’s worth the wait!

Liquid Gold
I've been using this product for about a week now and I already feel like it's doing me a lot of good. Unfortunately, I am the victim of female hair loss at the young, young age of 20. After looking into the trouble I was having, I found out that minoxidil is the only FDA approved treatment for my sort of hair loss and decided to try this brand's product as it came highly recommended. Here are the pros and cons that I've seen so far:Pros:- You can actually feel it doing something on your scalp. I would compare it to the tingling sensation of peppermint essential oil (which is often used to stimulate hair growth). I take this as a good sign.- The price is amazing for a three month supply. I used to use a product that merely protected my hair instead of regrowing it and that was at least three times as expensive as this and much less effective at reducing the appearance of hair loss. Also: getting a three month supply is incredibly convenient in itself. Especially since it will take four months to see your hair growing back! This is a great way to start using it and a cheap way to continue using it.- It contains the only FDA approved treatment for female hair loss (the 2% version only. The 5% is made for men and it will make you grow body hair. I know it's tempting to go for the big guns, but it really won't help you more than the 2% will). Ladies, this is all we've got so it's worth a try.- The dropper is, in my experience, the most convenient application tool. It's got a little marker on the side of it so that you can be sure you're getting the exact amount of it that you need.- Unscented! Most hair loss products have an unpleasant smell to them so I was pleasantly surprised by how neutral this is.- There is a very detailed set of instructions inside that explains how likely it is that you will regrow your hair, how much hair you may get back and how long it will take to start seeing results. Don't be disheartened because it will take four months to see results! Once again, this is the only FDA approved chance at getting hair back so it's worth putting in the effort!- This specific brand was recommended to me by the folks at the Massachusetts General Hospital hair salon. I trust the people at a hospital to know what they're talking about when it comes to a product like this.- Doesn't leave behind a film on the hair. I know a few people have said that it does, but it really doesn't if you apply it only to the scalp and use only the recommended amount. Putting it on the hair or using too much won't help you anyway, so if you avoid that then you end up fixing two problems.- You can still apply your styling products with it. I know many of us can't go on with our day without having hairspray or mousse to conceal some of our more troublesome spots. You can totally keep styling (and even dyeing) your hair with this product. Just make sure to read the guide inside to know how long you should wait between hair perming or dyeing hair and using the product.Cons:- If you have long hair (like me) it may wet the sparse strands of hair that you have and make your hair loss (initially) more apparent. As you use this twice a day, you will likely have to apply it before work/school. If you don't want your scalp to be visible while you go about your morning, I recommend applying it at LEAST 30 minutes before you bounce out the door. By then it will have absorbed a bit and a quick brushing will separate your strands again. You must also apply it at LEAST two hours before bed (otherwise it will get all over your pillow). If you like to burn the midnight oil (like me) and tend to put things off (like me) then you may wind up having to wait for it to dry whilst deliriously tired.- Having to apply it twice a day can be very inconvenient. If you delay your first application, that may affect your second and then you'll have to stay up all night waiting for it to dry so don't do that.- Can be difficult to open the bottles. I don't know what it is about this packaging but the child-proof lock has gotten stuck on me several times. Both with the original cap and the lock on the dropper. Not a big deal, it's just a pain to fix.- You will (for a few weeks) continue to lose hair. This could be at your usual rate or at an increased rate. This is perfectly normal and makes way for new hair growth but boy is it a pain!TLDR: The only negatives are so minor that they don't really change my view of the product. The inconvenience of applying it twice a day and giving it time to dry is really the only problem. All I need to know is that it works and, so far, it is doing exactly what the manual inside said it would. At this price, I really feel like I'd be happy even if I only got minimal hair restoration. If you're a woman and you're looking for your hair back then I would absolutely recommend trying it.

It works and is reversing damage done by Monat products
I am a 26 year old female and earlier this summer I suddenly began losing hair about twice as much as normal, perhaps due to hormonal changes, as well as realizing my hair just isnt as thick as it was when I was younger. A friend of my family's sells Monat and gave me some samples. I used them for two weeks and my hair started coming out of my head like crazy to the point that I lost perhaps 30% of it during that short a time period. (I even had repetitive nightmares in which I began salvaging clumps of hair from the shower drain to make a wig, lol) My aunt is a beautician of 20+ years and her top product recommendation is Nioxin, other family members of mine have used it for years, so I threw away the remaining Monat samples and began using the Nioxin shampoo for thin hair (mixed with Knox gelatin, which I put in my hair and ingest whenever I can to promote hair health) and scalp treatment conditioner as well as this hair regrowth treatment. Almost instantly my hair loss per day went back down to normal levels and the new growth along my hairline started coming in shinier and fuller. I've been using these products together for over three months now and while of course the full length of my hair is not thicker than it was before and I have a ways to go, the volume is better than it has ever been in my entire life, I feel like the breakage that used to frizz out where I used to wear ponytails is smoothing down and hardly noticable the more time goes by. I'm not as strict with always using the regrowth treatment twice a day and still getting good results. No negative side effects. People are amazed at how healthy my hair looks. Best part, I have stopped having nightmares about saving lost hairs to make a wig! Lol. So grateful!
