HOBO Hobo Vintage Valerie Tote Handbag

This bag is soft and supple. It is roomy without being overly large and bulky. I can fit baby wipes, matchbox cars, an umbrella, wallet, small first aid kit, all my necessities for having little boys and yet it does not look like I'm carrying a suitcase around. I like to still be a stylish mommy. The bag is quality, which I expect from Hobo International. I cannot brag on the leather enough. So beautiful and soft. I also require a bag to have"feet"just in case I'm forced to (gasp) put it on the floor somewhere. This one does. I love the external slip pocket, I'm always always in a hurry and needing to put something somewhere in a hurry. I highly recommend this bag. I was on the fence about buying it and was pleasently surprised when I pulled it out of the box and bag. Beautiful. It's also not as boxy as the picture looks.

Previously I had a Hobo bag that is still very useable after 3 years of every day use.I purchased this bag in January 2016 and now in early May 2016 the interior pocket is tearing and the "leather" handles are fraying.It also appears that I have no recourse having purchased this thru Amazon.

This bag is really nice and definitely on the large side. It has a good zipper that goes all the way across the top and the outside pocket is handy for my keys or phone. I like the way it looks and feels, and it has feet on the bottom, which I also like. I am disappointed about a few things, though. One thing is that the inside zipper pocket could stand to be larger. If I cram everything I usually put in the inside pocket into the pocket in this purse, it creates a weird bulge on the outside of the purse and it looks horrible. I have had to put some of my inside pocket things into a separate makeup bag to keep inside my purse. The purse itself, while rather large, is not what I would call "roomy." Everything I carry (wallet, hand sanitizer, planner, my inside pocket stuff makeup bag) needs to have a specific location for it all to fit properly. There is no tossing my wallet into this purse; I have to place it back in its spot. Also, the handles could be a tad longer and wider. The last thing is that the bottom edges of my purse are kind of curled up. Hopefully, that will relax as I carry it.

I love this bag! the Hobo Friar bag, and I do use it - it is just sometimes small -just an evening bag. This, however, is perfect for daily stuff. Not too heavy, but can hold everything and have the perfect amount of pockets. I love the pattern on front and get compliments all the time.

After reading the other two reviews, I decided to go ahead and splurge on this at the sale price. So glad I did! Great quality, wonderful bag. So few things are really nice and made of real leather these days. This is just fabulous.

It's an awesome purse. Great looking, usable pockets and for leather not to heavy.

Beautiful bag, very well made

Perfect size and it "stands up" when I set it down, does not fall over and spill contents. the zipper is perfectly positioned to zip over my iPad and Folio and the interior pockets are the perfect combo for the working/traveling/mom/wife/etc....
