This is a very "nice to have" equipment, as I have always wondered how fast my models were going and if they kept within legal altitude limits, or just how high above ground they where operating.

I just want purchasers to know a few things, firstly one of the reviews stated he bought a new unit only to receive what he thought was a used unit due to the scratches on the screen which sure I would have been upset to but before you go and ruin a companies standings he should have peeled off the screen protecting film which you can see in his pic he did not. Some people go thru life not knowing basics but the unit itself is game changing with onboard storage and lightweight a simple velcro pad holds in place perfect but I am looking for a velcro strap option as well as I do use this for rc's on my YouTube channel. Expensive but it does its job, good battery life very durable, easy to use, takes accurate speed.

Does what it should and then some (for RC cars/trucks). Battery door could use some work as it pops off easy but i just put some tape around it. i tested it with the GPS in my suv and it was spot on!!

I think a 3 star assessment is a fair value of this product in the short time I had it..............It arrived on time as advertised, thx AMAZON 2 day....but when I opened the packaging, the item appeared to have been opened before. I can't say it was used, but the packaging had all the earmarks of prior handling.My biggest "beef" with this and one of the primary reasons for its return, is the advertised "software" and available firmware update ability. REALLY??? On the manufacturer's web site you can download the software for MAC and Windows boxes...this is NOT true. It's a Windows only program, and I own a MAC. Once I got the program to open, it crashed immediately, so I tried to install it on a Windows box where the program would recognized the device, but the DEVICE didn't recognize the software so I couldn't do any custom settings or even transfer data. All I wanted to do was ramp up the refresh rate from default of 1hz to 10hz per second for a tad better accuracy. That wasn't gonna happen, no matter what I tried. FAILWhen the item was turned on, it did indeed, in an open sky, acquire the satellites quickly. It gave my walking speed around the driveway, which literally was the limit to "testing" this, so I have no reason to believe it won't work as advertised.

Cool little gps speedometer. Light weight and compact. Just not sure about how accurate it is

Clock time does not display properly. Picture was taken at 22.25.59, display shows 0.25.59. Some other clock hours are also messed up. Return must be sent/insured to China and receipt verified before issuing a refund. Not worth the expense and hassle.UPDATE: Seller reached out to me asking for details and pictures. They resolved this defective unit with a quick refund and no need to process a return. Good seller.
