Best loofahs
I have purchased from this merchant two or three times and they never fail!!! I made the mistake of trying to save more (hard times man) and received hard as rock loofahs that overnight soaking didnt make them soft!!!! These loofahs deliver all the time! They are also large so you cover more of your body!! Every shower becomes an oasis because u cant wait to take the day "off". Your skin feels AMAZING every time.

Great Natural Alternative
I feel like I may have reviewed this product before, but no matter, it's worth reviewing again. I switched to natural loofas as a way of decreasing the amount of microplastics being put into our water ways and frankly they are a great all over exfoliator. Each loofa last well past the recommended 4 week use (I'm very bad at keeping track of when to change them) and the best part is that as long as you are using a natural soap, they are completely biodegradable and compostable.I will explain why that is. Loofa is a gourd. A big ol' green gourd that grows well in most warm to hot climates. I saw a woman in upstate New York was growing her own.The loofa we use in the shower is the husky interior of these gourds that is dried then ready for use in bathing. Because it is 100% plant fiber (other than the little ribbon) it can be added to your compost pile and it will breakdown. Be sure to really rinse them well before composting if you are using a soap with synthetic ingredients. You may want to cut it into smaller pieces so it will breakdown quickly as well.It is important to follow the instructions included in each pack of loofas. Rehydration is a breeze. I literally clean my kitchen sink fill throw the loofas in it and fill it with hot water until they are mostly submerged, because they float, and leave them like that until they stop swelling. Only tricky thing is getting any seeds out that are left in them. This seed removal is extremely important because the seed will rot in the loofa and that is not a fun process. I would not know from personal experience; but, having dealt with rotten plant items, I do not want to scrub my body with that. Gross.I have these on subscribe and save and don't plan on switching anytime soon.

Good but ribbon doesn't hold up
The loofa itself is good. I've only used one so far, but one whole side of it was split almost entirely which wasn't ideal. Plus the ribbon attached to it fell off during first use. Didn't bother me too much as I can still hang it up by the hole, but still.Exfoliation is great though. If you have sensitive skin it might feel like a lot, but it's very effective and doesn't scratch. As with all Egyptian loofas, you will want to pick through it a bit and remove the seeds. It gives off an organic smell for a couple days which is normal, but it did seem to last longer than others I've tried. If you want to save a couple bucks and don't care about the ribbon it's a solid choice.

Make sure you soak them first!
These are soooo nice. No dry patches and such soft skin. They feel wonderful every morning!! Read the directions though and soak before using. Otherwise waaaay too scratchy lol.To clean? Toss in the top rack of your dishwasher. Outstanding

Just don't
Worthless. Laughable crap. Not worth returning. Thinner than a plastic hanger.

Way Better Than Plastic Loofahs!
My husband and I are LOVING our loofahs. We’ve been using ours for months and months and they still have life left in them! They exfoliate so much better than the plastic poufs which I will never purchase again. They are big and soft with the right amount of scrub!

The hanger tore ripped it on the first use.
The hanger was a piece of ribbon and it tore the loofah on the first use. It had an odor the first few times it was used. That odor is fading as I use it more. It is a large loofah and feels good when I’m using it, but I’m no sure how long it will last. Plus now I don’t have a way to hang it up and so it has to sit on my shower seat which I’m not too excited about.
