Our family celebrated Christmas, this year, after Christmas, in Gatlinburg. However, we had Christmas dinner here, at our house, on Christmas night. Knowing there would be no opening of gifts I ordered the MOMENTS cards as conversation starters that would include my twelve and nine-year-old grandchildren. My ninety-four-year-old mother-in-law was also present and at the table. As I had hoped, the conversation flowed and I did not want it to end. At first there was tension when the kids thought it was a game, but they thoroughly enjoyed it when they found there was no competition just an honest round-table discussion that included everyone. I highly recommend MOMENTS for family celebrations and events that include several generations, as ours did.

We got the generation game because we love to have our family gatherings and we have a pretty big age span. This game pulled everyone into it! It was fun to see the reactions of the younger ones when they heard the stories ....even some of the parents were amazed when they heard the older ones! Everyone had the best of times and really didn’t want to quit! It was one of the most fun family get to gethers we have had for a long time....I definitely am looking forward to more of thes games. It is awesome!

We purchased this game for Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas. Grandpa loves to share stories with the grandkids about his youth. The questions on this game are thought provoking and prompt Grandpa to share things that he may not have remembered. Grandma is quiet and loving. This game is a neat way for her to share more about herself too. My only complaint is that the game is basically a pack of playing cards. It looks like a large box game full of more questions in the picture. I thought we were getting more questions for the price ($22) than we did. Realistically this game should be about $7 or have 3 times as many questions.

Just got this and the Families version to bring to a family reunion. We tried this pack out today with my Grandmother-in-law and it was great. We were laughing and singing and sharing stories that I never would have thought to ask about. The best part is that we only got through about 4 cards in an hour because every question led to other anecdotes about other things I never would have thought to ask about. The questions really helped us thinking of other questions of our own to ask. Using these created, hands down, the best conversation we've ever had. Thank you Our Moments.

This past weekend I watched the g-kiddos while mom and dad took the night off for an anniversary celebration. I brought the generation conversation cards and we used them over dinner. It was one of the most fun things we did that night! My grandson took the lead and picked all the cards. It was so fun! And I learned much about my g-kiddos that we do not usually discuss. It was a game :-) which made it very fun . I am considering carrying around these cards to use with my work, as they are easy conversations that foster bonding.!

I guess I didn’t pay attention but I was NOT expecting this book to be SO TINY!! It’s like the size of something a doll would use! I would not think that for this price and the fact that it is specifically geared towards grandparents, the product would be so very SMALL.Very disappointed

Slightly smaller in dimensions than playing cards, these cards are classic styled and easy to read. Perfect for starting conversations with Grandparents and other extended family to share stories of family history during family get togethers. Interesting questions allow deeper conversations and sharing of family history. A perfect family gift for the holidays or assist in assignments for children on family.

I bought these cards because I felt like our family didn't really communicate, especially during dinner. These cards gave us various questions to discuss. It is geared more towards grandparents, but it works for us parents too. I plan on using these cards this weekend when my mom visits. It's a great way for my kids to learn about their grandma.
