How far will you go to live out your dreams?
When her life is unfulfilling, what's a woman to do? That is the question facing Zuri as she grapples with living the affordable life she has versus grabbing the high roller life dangled before her. What's so wrong with wanting and experiencing the finer things in life?Murray does it again with this third book in her Seven Deadly Sins series, this installment the strongest, most intriguing of the series so far, at least for this reader. That's the beauty of this series. As each storyline wrestles with one of the deadly sins, readers are forced to do the same. I would never go down the path that Zuri takes in Greed, but I understand wanting more out of life than one's current position and I'm sure many of Murray's readers will too. As I read this book, I was reminded that we are to be content with where we find ourselves (Phil 4:11-13), a lesson Zuri certainly could have benefitted from.I can only imagine what Murray has in store for her fans with the remainder of the series, but if Greed is any indicator, each book will provide great entertainment mixed with a bit of soul-searching. Can't wait for book 4!

Third times a charm.....
Not only is GREED the 3rd installment of Victoria Christopher Murray's Seven sins series (following LUST & ENVY), I read it in 3 days and it has taken me 3 tries to write this review. I have made so many false starts because it is hard to try to write the review without giving away the many twists & turns the reader encounters.I may be in the minority but I actually liked Zuri! I found myself questioning what I would do if the opportunity to live my dreams fell in my lap. Would I be able to see the tarnish under the gold? Would my desire to not have to struggle- even if only for a little while- would it provide enough of a smokescreen to hide what it is I did not want to see? I believe her heart was truly in the right place in wanting to experience different things in life and that doing so would not hurt those she loved. I rooted for her until the end. The twist at the end had me shedding tears, and I can not remember the last time a book made me cry. I truly felt what the characters were going through at that moment.I am now impatiently awaiting the next book in the series.i

Greed- wow!
This third book in Victoria Christopher Murray’s Seven Deadly Sins series, literally took all my emotions.Greed - “for all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world” (I John 2:16)..... I do not like Zuri Maxwell, I really tried, but I didn’t. I kept hoping she would open her eyes but she wouldn’t. So, I just don’t like her. I really want to smack her! This story is a perfect lesson on selfishness, lust and envy.....a tough lesson when you don’t learn it early.Victoria Christopher Murray has done an amazing job with this book, and I am so looking forward to seeing it brought to life in the screen.

Victoria never disappoints!
I loved and hated this book so much. Let me tell you why I hated it. I hated Greed because Victoria got me looking crazy talking to these characters like they are real people. The amount of fussing I did with Zuri is ridiculous! I was having out-loud, verbal conversations by myself. My mental health was being questioned! Seriously though, Victoria is such an expert writer because she can elicit so many emotions out of you. I did not want to put the book down because I wanted to know what happened next. I love the depth of the characters. Real life moments not only in Zuri's relationship with Stephon but with her best friend and her dad. I loved how her friend had to check her but they were still solid. Also, her dad calling her out on how she had changed. I was mad with Zuri for most of the story but I sort of felt bad for her in the end. If you haven't read Greed yet, do it now!!! After each of Victoria's books, I always want a sequel. That's how involved I get with the characters and the storyline. She draws you in. I can't wait for the next one!

The little foxes that spoil the vine
This has been my favorite book of the Seven Deadly Sins series. I could relate to Zuri in the beginning but I was screaming at the book when she kept making dumb choices. Murray did an excellent job of crafting a tale about how situations can start off small and innocent but eventually snowball out of control due to GREED.Can’t wait for the next installment!

Get ready for some twists and turns.
I loved the book and couldn’t put it down. I read for 6 hours straight and was mad when it ended. Like Zuri, I was fooled by Ms. Viv but the enemy will always deceive you. I found myself telling Zuri, out loud, to stop doing the things she was doing and then getting angry with her for getting caught up. Though, Zuri is just like all of us who say we won’t do it again, then justify within ourselves our wrongs. Zuri and Stephon had a unique love and for it to end the way it did was really sad.

Greed is a Hit
Once again Victoria Christopher Murray has given us a Page turner that kept me on the edge of my seat.I was totally engrossed in these characters from the first chapter. VCM has a way of drawing you so completely into the story that you smell scents, feel textures and footsteps as people move about. And then she hits you with and unexpected twists that has you screaming out loud. I promise that readers will not see it coming, despite knowing the theme of Greed and having read other books in the Seven Deadly Sins series. I CANNOT WAIT to see these as Movies because they played so vividly as I read themanyway. If you like a good love story, with ambition, nerd and greed with a twist, grab this book and read it after you take your blood pressure medicine. You will NOT be disappointed.
