Would be 5 stars except for loose bearings cover
As others have mentioned, there is a too common problem with the cover becoming loose. In my case, completely loose and requires snap ring pliers to tighten and if it occurs again then I will try blue lock tight product.It has good quality and angle and seems to work well so far. I wonder if it made as it is so that you could fit other “noses” on the shaft and tighten it on?

Unthreads its bearing
Looks good and feels solid, does not rust in humid Louisiana shop, however the bearing is threaded in and if used in a standard wood lathe tailstock mine unthreads itself almost immediately when turning. Seems like a pretty fundamental flaw.

Good quality overall except ring
Works fine but the threaded ring that screws into the base keeps unwinding after an hour or so of use. Once I found the correct tool (snap ring pliers) i tightened it properly and seems okay so far. If it continues, Locktite is next
