Top Quality Gen 3 fog light
The media could not be loaded. Quality lights, quite bright. The plastic mounts require just a little help to hold fast, I used a small section of the asphalt-type step tread under the mounts on my 1” engine guards and now have no unwanted movement. A star washer at the pivot shores that up tight, too. The plastic mounts actually aid in eliminating some vibration from my guards to the light housing, which is a bonus. I’m very pleased. They look great and function very well. Recommended.UPDATE: When straight-wired (see blow), the amber turn signals blink amid the illuminated white DRLs. Another reviewer here has already uploaded a video showing operation with a typical relay, alternating between amber turn and white DRL. My video shows operation with this timer relay installed, DRLs extinguish as turn signal blinks, then resume when turn signal is canceled. Simple install, see below.Mini Timer Time Delay Relay .1 Sec to 400 days. 3V 12V 18V 5A. Power on or Off Delay, Cycling and More. Compatible with B00PD65UGA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C4ZP23D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_kYTzEbMWWTMG4Connection of these lights is simple and straightforward. Connect switch harness to ground and accessory power (key on) for the switched fog light operation; also run the yellow wire to accessory power for daytime running lights (DRLs), and the blue wire to the respective positive turn-signal wire. That’s all there is to it.11/18/20 UPDATE: One of my lights turn signals on one side of the lamp quit working and the seller sent me TWO NEW LIGHTS!! Wow, they really stand behind their products. Way to go, Ovotor! 👏

Excellent product that needs some package refinement
The media could not be loaded. Just got this set of fog lights to put on my 2012 BMW K1600GT. I've always wanted the OEM style of light, but my bike didn't have them, sad. A few weeks ago I finally put Ilium crash bars on the bike and bought their OEM fog light mount with the intention of using that for whatever light I finally chose. I decided the OEM lights were just too overpriced, at about $189 US EACH, so got a set of inexpensive lights from superbrightleds.com. Liked them, but then these showed up in one of my feeds and I thought, the price is right, lets check it out.Ordered and received as easily as all things on Amazon, at least for Prime subscribers. :-) Opened the box and found a well done kit, nicely packaged. Pulled out one of the lights and saw that it has a jutting lower jaw, like a bulldog. This is the lens design to get a fog light pattern from an LED, it looks fine just a bit funny. The lights are hefty aluminium and look great, very OEM like. And they are bright, with a great cutoff on the beam, and I like the LEDs on the side. There are some things that could be better.1. The mount provided wrapped around the Ilium bars, but are just a bit larger than allows for a tight fit. I added a bit of wire shrinkwrap to improve the grip, but found the plastic shaft used to capture the nut allowed the nut to turn, so I could not tighten it to my satisfaction. That's not a big deal for me since I have the Ilium adapter, but if you don't be aware of this issue. The light is, as I said, hefty and I would be concerned that it could easily rotate in rough riding.2. There were no instructions at all. There are a lot of parts involved, not to mention the wiring. I'm a expert mechanic so can figure anything out, and did so without a lot of difficulty. But a less experienced person would certainly find this a challenge, instructions would help immensely.3. Wiring. The harness is pretty good and includes a mountable switch, as you can see in the photos it mounts very cleanly on my handlebar. But, the sheathing comes right up to the ground connector, and the positive connector isn't much longer. Again, without instructions and specifications knowing how to hook this up is challenging. I didn't know the true load, and nothing in the package told me what the amperage draw is (update: I measured the load later to be 2.44 amps, so put a 3 amp fuse in the holder.). So I thought I'd check the fuse rating, that would be a good indicator. Well, the fuse provided is 30 amps! That's far too high for these LEDs, the wire provided is no where near heavy enough to support such a load, they will burn before the fuse blows! Dumb! The ad says they are 40W, so I assume they'll draw at most 5.6 amps at 14v (for both lights, see, without specs I can't be certain), so the wire size should be okay, and I don't need a relay.3a. The wiring harness, as I said, is nicely done. But the side LEDs for running light and turn signal are separate from the weather proof connector, and the manufacturer provides two yellow wires to connect to the LED connectors beside this weather proof connector. The wires in the harness from the light are different colors, but not the wires provided to connect to the bike, which means you need to make an identifying mark so when you disconnect them you can reconnect without guessing what's what. No harm would come from reversing them, they both provide the positive side of the circuit, it's just that one is for running lights and the other is for turn signals, so reversing them reverses the function of each LED color. Easy to fix, dumb to allow this. Additionally the connectors are not weather proof. The light side has an insulator, but it doesn't seal in any way. The bike side wires do NOT have insulators, so be careful when servicing the bike that they don't hit a ground, or put an insulator on them.4. Back to the mount. The entire mounting bracket provided is plastic. Not as sturdy as it needs to be, and not as clean looking as I'd like, but with some effort it might work. In my installation the only plastic part is the part that attaches to the light, can't get around that. So get something else. I think these lights would work as a direct replacement for the OEM lights, but with a wiring change as I doubt the connectors match. But mechanically they should mount right up.Summary: These are nice lights and compliment the K1600GT as if they are OEM lights. A wiring diagram is needed, as are color coded wires for the LED side lights. Instructions are definitely required for the less experienced! The switch mount is excellent and the wiring harness quality is first rate. A skilled mechanic can make these work fairly easily. The light output is very bright with a very sharp cutoff, these will make excellent fog lights. Five stars for the light quality (pending actually using them at night), but down rated because of the flimsy mount, the lack of instructions and specifications (we need to know the actual load rating), and the lack of color-coded wires (this should be a weather proof 4 wire square connector).

Had to install by the seat of my pants.
The lights seem to be well built and are bright. They came with no instructions at all. I had to figure my way trough the install main thing the wiring without any diagram. I could not find any install instruction on internet either. There is some kind of adjustment knob that still do not know what it is for.

Good light, poor holder..
These are super nice and really light up the road.. Install is not so easy.. the crashbar attachment slides alot, i used a piece of rubber underneath so they dont slide.. the bracket that attaches the light to the bar holder is weird cheap plastic and as you continue to screw the bolt it eats the plastic..If you can find a metal bracket that would be beneficial..I used a couple of washers on each side for now..I love the running and blinkers on the side of the light..super cool..I have to remove the headlight to hook those up so i chose not to at this time..The wiring it comes with is top notch, well wrapped and comes with extra extention wires...All in all, good light but they need to work on the attachment.
