My new favorite sun sleeves
First, let me say that I have used sun sleeves quite a bit. I'm fair skinned, and I burn like crazy, so sun sleeves are my friends. The main issues I've run into with sun sleeves are 1) fit, 2) hand coverage, and 3) how they look. I was going to include how well they stay up, but that's usually a function of the fit. For me, these sleeves work on all three counts: they fit well, I could use them as both plain sleeves AND sleeves that cover my hands, and they lay smoothly on my arm so they looked decent. (As much as you're going to get with sun sleeves. Let's be realistic.) There was no big logo shouting out at you, either, which I appreciated.Somewhere in the product description I read that the pink sleeves offered the most protection. (Or maybe I dreamed that, but whatever.) For that reason, I wore the pink ones during the days when my sun exposure was the worst, and they performed great! My skin was well protected, the sleeves were comfortable, and they stayed in place perfectly. I love the little thumb slit. I was able to cover and uncover my hands easily, and it's not visible unless your thumb is sticking through it. The pink color is relatively subtle once it's on, which I liked since it's not my favorite color.I also wore the gray ones, and I have the same comments, but the gray ones weren't tested in as much sun as the pink ones, so I can't tell you if they are as good or not.As an added bonus, treating the sleeves with Permethrin also worked great. Other people were slapping at their arms, while I didn't even notice the mosquitos. Gotta love that. One thing to note...When I first opened the packages (each pair had its own separate, sealed, reusable bag), they had an intense chemical smell that was still there even after washing, although not as bad. The smell went away for the two pairs of sleeves after I had them out for a while and wore them.As for the fit, my arms are short and not very big around. These were great for me, and there's lots of stretch to accommodate a larger arm. No idea how *much* larger, though.Hope that helps.

Amazing in the heat
I bought these for a work trip where I will be working in 110+ temps with lots of sun. I typically burn and these are great! The top of the sleeve is a little snug as other have mentioned, but that's just to hold it in place. It's not uncomfortable. The sleeves allow your arms to vent while preventing a sunburn. I recently wore the black ones while moving equipment with a forklift in full sun and my arms were not dying. These sleeves are amazing and I would recommend to anyone that is trying to protect from the sun!

These sleeves are a life saver
I absolutely love these sleeves. I have been wearing them almost every day since I got them. I have Lupus and my photosensitivity have gone through the roof. Sun and florescent light makes my skin burn and I would break out in a rash if I don't cover my arms. At first I tried buying long sleeve shirts but I didn't want to get rid of all my short sleeve shirt so I brought these sleeves and they are perfect. I went out into the Las Vegas 110 degree heat for 2 hours with no problem. Smh I got lost while I was taking the bus because of stupid construction. It was a nightmare but I survived because of these sleeves. I was nice and cool. It was kind of weird that I didn't even sweat with these on. I love them. I would totally recommend these to everyone.

Deliver mail without getting sun burned
I purchased these arm sleeves to protect my arms from the sun while delivering mail. I must say they are perfect! The color is rich, fit is long, and the material feels really good against my skin. Great investment!!

Allergic to the sun? living in Arizona? these are a lifesaver
I live in Arizona and I’m allergic to the sun so I needed something that would cover as much of my arms believe my fingers free and be extremely cool. I was shocked at how well these worked and how they cut my arm is extremely cool I don’t like the beige I’ll be honest I ordered a pair of black ones because the beige that dirty extremely quick. Also I have tattoos and you can see them through the sleeves so I wouldn’t recommend these for covering up your tattoos for work but as far as to protect your tattoos from the sun these are amazing. I have an 18 inch by bicep I’m chubby so I was scared they wouldn’t fit but they do and they don’t fall down

does what its supposed to do
I LOVE to garden and work in my back yard and hot weather can be a bit much. I realized going to the beach how uneven my skin color is on different parts of my body. My forearms are extremely dark (I have the farmers tan) and the rest of me is pretty fair. I would say mainly because I work in t-shirts. Occasionally the tank tops come up when it's super hot, but that is another issue. Anyway, I thought this would keep my arms from getting sunburned and darker. So they were easy to put on (similar to putting on pantyhose) you have to scrunch them up and pull them on... the upper band was a little tight on my out-of-shape flabby arms BUT not uncomfortable... I was able to pull them up to fit underneath the edge of my t-shirt short sleeve. I worked in them all day in the hot sun. They did NOT make me hot or sweaty but rather kept that part of my body cool. I felt a little more protected as well from shrubs, etc. even though they were not specifically made for that.At the end of the day... NO SUNBURN no extra dark forearms and no messing with sticky sunscreen. They really do the trick. Keep you cool, protect your skin from the sun AND they are comfortable. What more can you ask for? They were a great price and I will be wearing them religiously to protect my skin out in the garden. Thank you to the people that think up these things!

Exactly what I needed 👍😊
I came across these by mistake whilst looking for something else, but they are absolutely perfect and EXACTLY what I was needing! Due to long term illness, I have had to take oral steroids for years now and the skin on my arms and hands has become very fragile and permanently covered in black/ purple/ brownish bruising, often from wrist to elbow. The "fingerless glove" aspect of these, cover the fragile skin on the backs of my hands, whilst leaving my fingers free to do things. They are nice and long and over the elbow which is great on my long arms. They ARE very stretchy, so imagine they will fit a variety of sizes. Unstretched, each glove measures approximately 16.5" long, 6.5" circumference around the hand end and 8.5" around the upper arm end. My hand circumference is 8.5" and my upper arm is 11" and the gloves give me a light compression factor on my arm dimensions. The gloves not only help to protect my fragile skin against scrapes and scratches, but also serve the "cosmetic" purpose of how awful my hands and arms look.... like I've been in a bad accident or beaten up!!!So yes, I WOULD recommend these gloves. Thank you. They are great 👍😁

Unisex size is the problem
Certainly good value for money. Unfortunately as they are a one size product, they don't offer as much compression as I would have liked. It's not as if they fall down or anything, they do stay up, but having rather skinny arms, they are not ideal and I ordered a different higher end product more exact to my arm measurements. However I kept these sleeves as I had worn them and also as a wee spare pair for extra warmth.

Versatile skin protection
I’ve been more impressed with these than I thought I would be. They fold up and are easy to carry in a pocket, turning short sleeved shirts (which I prefer) into sun protective long sleeve ones. The ‘hand’ portion is easy to fold back by slipping your thumb out for hand washing etc. I used them extensively on holiday and didn’t burn. I was worried that they may make my arms hot, but this wasn’t the case. They are quick easy to wash and dry and I’ll purchase another pair. Shame they don’t come in packs of the same colour.

Seem to work ok. Maybe a bit flimsy
They've developed "ladders" in then after a few weeks of use. They do seem to keep my arms white on a sunny day, but I have doubts as to their longevity. Actually cooler than having bare skin though. Something to do with the way they allow sweat to evaporate maybe. Probably have to buy a new set each summer, but I can live with that.

Comfy and of good quality
I bought these sleeves for when cycling in the morning and would perhaps use them for running in cooler temperatures. Yesterday I wore for cycling to work. Very comfy and like the option of wearing them over your hand. They are of good quality and the navy colour was as I expected. Nothing really that I could fault them for really.
