Awesome!
The VOLOOM is amazing! I put absolutely no product in my hair and the volume lasted all day. It was incredibly fast and easy. I honestly hoped for a little added volume, but this thing is better than I ever expected!! I was hesitant because of the price, but it's worth every penny! Best hair tool I've ever purchased!

I use volume adding irons to my hair pretty much every time i wash and style my hair
I use volume adding irons to my hair pretty much every time i wash and style my hair. I naturally have medium/thin pin straight hair.I have purchased a much cheaper micro crimper from hot tools and used it for a few months. Recently, I bought voloom and have used it once. The results are attached. Most people would probably ask, which I preferred? They both have their pros and cons.-Mico crimpers can get closer to your scalp, but leave a really severe mark on your hair. Voloom cannot get as close to your scalp and leaves a more subtle mark.-Voloom is much faster to use. Micro crimpers take me 20 minutes to crimp my whole head (except for the visible areas near my part of course). Voloom takes 10 minutes. The differences are really nuanced. So if you can't afford voloom you would probably be satisfied enough with a cheaper micro crimper. I plan on keeping both irons anyway because I really liked the results and think it works really well on long hair with larger barrell curled styles. Feel free to ask any questions.

Life Changing!
INCREDIBLE!!!! I have the most flat fine straight hair ever. On top of that I'm very oily and have to shampoo my hair daily to get any sort of volume at all. I received my Voloom today and immediately tried it out. I did not wash my hair today so it's extra flat (as you can see in my before picture). After using my hair is literally like 3 times bigger! And it's lasted all day! I've never been so happy with a hair product in my life. I'm recommending it to everyone!

This Works!!
This works!!!!! First, about my hair: straight, thin, even thinner on top (post-menopausal), medium shoulder-length and color-treated.I received my Rootie yesterday and immediately tried it. I was impressed. I slept last night and when I got up this morning I still had lift to my hair. I washed and redid my hair just now and I think I did a better job of placement with the Rootie within my hair. No hair products, no hairspray and I have volume that my thin hair has never had before. Very, very happy with this new style tool and for those who are concerned about the price, I absolutely think it is work every bit of it.

Pricey? Yeah. Worth it? I think so.
I hate my hair. Hate it. I have PCOS so it's thin (as you can clearly see at the top of my head) its flat and it doesn't hold a curl. It's a constant source of anxiety for me. Who doesn't want thick luxurious hair? I saw this on Facebook and at first that was a red flag for me but I always check out the latest invention. So I looked on their main website and the price was rough, lets be honest. I saw I could break it up into payments but still it seemed steep. This is definitely one of those purchases I had to do a lot of review digging before I took the plunge. I saw that it had pretty good reviews and the pictures helped me make my decision.I didn't feel overly confident that this would work, or maybe it would work but it would fall flat by the time I got to work. I've tried a lot of products and a lot of products have failed me.So I tried it out for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Throughout the day at work I stoppled by the bathroom to check on it and it remained full. This is such a game changer for me. Yes it was expensive and I'm sure I could have just bought a crimper for cheaper, and I may try that when this eventually dies, but for now I am thankful because for once I feel a little more confident about my hair.Clearly from my photo it's not a dramatic difference but *I* see a difference, even if it's small and that was worth the price.

Great! While it lasted...
I have had the Voloom for 4 months and have absolutely loved it! But yesterday it suddenly stopped working. The light goes on and the temperature gage says that it is ready but it is not getting hot. I'm so disappointed because this is not an inexpensive product. To pay over $100 for a hair product that only lasts 4 months is very frustrating. I am contacting the company in hopes that they will replace it.

Blew up - does not work on 220volt even tho sticker says it does!
Please can Amazon look into this - I bought my Voloom in America - it worked while I was there - when I got back to South Africa -our electricians checked the sticker which says that the voloom works on 110-220 volt. I plugged it in and it made a pop sound and has not worked since. I think that this product is made only for 110 volt but the factory has put a sticker on it saying it works for all voltages - and that’s why if you go to amazon.co.uk you will see Voloom has been discontinued in uk only because they are also 220volt like South Africa. Furious - want my money back - ! Who must I tell!

10 stars!
OMG! Where was this product 20 years ago? All those mousses, gels and hair sprays I've used over the years... And the solutions is so simple.I love it and I think it's worth every penny. If I could, I would give Voloom 10 stars. My hair is fine and silky and short (just below the chin), so the Voloom Petite Iron works well for me. It's very easy to use, quick and lasts into the second day, which never happened to me before. (I gave up curling my hair long time ago - did it in the morning and by the late afternoon my hair would be flat and straigt again). I do use a little hair spray after I achieve the desirable result just to keep the shape and keep the scalp oil production in check.I posted the pictures: 1) My hair in its natural state. 2)My hair after Voloom. 3)My hair 24 hour after Voloom
