Durability
Purchased this mouse back in September of 2015 when I was hired for my new job as it was cheap and could be delivered quickly. I was expecting it to last maybe a year and in that time find a better mouse to use for my daily tasks. Boy was I wrong… this mouse went through many 3-4 foot drops onto concrete floors, frustrated spikes into my computer bag, and many miles of traveling just bouncing around in a book bag. Today, one month short of 10 years, I lost the ability to right click. I write this as I go to order my 2nd with the hopes, I can get another strong 10 years and to leave someone looking for a cheap mouse an honest review.

The Best Mouse I have ever used and I have more than one Logitech M325 mouse!
To me, Logitech says it all! Go ahead a buy a cheap mouse and don't be surprised when it skips all over your computer screen or slowly drags as you try to move it. You cannot beat the M325 no matter what else you might have. Believe me, I have tried them all. Dell is good, but it cannot come up to any Logitech that I have found. This is the second M325 that I have purchased. Sorry Amazon, I can't tell you where I got the first one, I do wish it had been from Amazon. But this one was purchased from Amazon. I have had the first one for years, I just don't know how long. I know it has been over 10 years. But the only reason I had to purchase this one was that my gray one had developed a little problem that, when you right click with it the right mouse button gives a little hesitation before doing the right mouse click, but that is all and that is after 10 years. I am still using it for a computer other than my main computer. My main computer is a Macbook computer. So it will work with Apple as well as Microsoft and Linux. In summary, don't be afraid to buy this mouse. You won't be disappointed. As for those who give this mouse less than a five and especially those who give it a one or two, I honestly cannot understand why. It is the best for your money, period!

Have used many wireless mouse. Best one of the lot.
Since I got frustrated with the similar model by Microsoft I can tell you how this one is superior. 1) does not keep downloading it's own version of software and drivers on every computer like microsoft similar model does. 2) the scroll wheel is much more finely gradated and it works across different types of windows and website file more evenly. With the Microsoft one, you get the wheel set just right for say Yahoo email and then it goes too slow (or too fast--scrolling that is) in a regular website or in Word. Get it set just right in one of those, and then sucks for how it works somewhere else. I'm not sure why, except the Microsoft mouse wheel has clicks that are much "larger" if you will, and getting them adjusted right so they do not move too much or too little is quite a pain, and then you are compromising between types of windows you are in. 3) this is the one that really prompted me replacing my Microsoft mouse that is similar: The buttons have too strong a spring for my taste, so you really have to press a lot harder than on this Logitech. That gets old, especially on alternate click. The Microsoft model has ONE advantage, though. The receiver dongle fits nicely into the bottom of the mouse itself for travel. It does on this Logitech one, also, but you have to open the batter door to stick it in there. On Microsoft model, you just insert it into a space and you click a button to release it. However, this is not a big deal and the door to open for batter and to insert dongle is very well made and works well on this model by Logitech. HIGHLY recommend this mouse.

Well designed, compact mouse. Perfect for younger children too!
Wonderful wireless mouse! I've purchased 3 of this model over the years. Two were for my personal use and I'd always been impressed with how smoothly it operates and how easy it is to control. The batteries last so long that I have yet to have to replace one. My first had to be replaced due to being destroyed by one of my children. lol Until they got their hands on it, it had been functioning wonderfully. My second one is still in use. :) This third one, I bought for my youngest son. He attends a cyber school and his school issued laptop came with an external corded mouse. The touchpad mouse that is built into his laptop is overly sensitive, so when you type it causes the cursor to jump all around the page. There is no way to disable the tap function when typing unfortunately, so we decided to disable the touchpad entirely and use an external mouse. His hands are so little that it was very difficult for him to maneuver the corded mouse. However, I knew my mouse works for him because he's been using it for the last 2 years when he gets on my personal computer. I'm sure Logitech has other models that are also compact, but I got this one because I know for sure it's great for tiny hands. :) It arrived a couple of days ago and he's been able to operate it like a pro. I'm sure it would also be a great mouse for travel.

too small
I bought this same one back in 2016. I liked it enough to get the same one again. But it isn't the same one. It is smaller. It works great. connects great. It's just too small. I've ordered a larger one and will keep this one as a back up.my point is don't do what I did. Read it to see if the size will work for you

Best wireless mouse I’ve ever used!
I LOVE this mouse!! Every other wireless USB mouse I’ve used has taken minutes to connect to my laptop, or re-sync. This one connects the SECOND I turn the mouse on without even a moment of delay. I leave the USB connector in my laptop all the time and just turn the mouse off with the switch on the back of it when not in use. Then I just turn the switch back on and bam -it’s ready! I also lock/put my screen to sleep frequently throughout the day, and it never disconnects or even lags when I turn it back on. Not sure how long the battery lasts but haven’t had an issue yet! It’s super convenient and easily portable - super sturdy and reliable, so I just toss it into my bag every night with no issues. It’s also a great size (not too tiny but also not big and clunky), has great scrolling, and is the perfect level of precision (not too sensitive but still sensitive enough). As a Data Analyst working on my laptop all day - this is my new favorite mouse! Definitely recommend.
