Brazil Yellow Bourbon Coffee, Whole Bean, Fresh Roasted, 16-ounce

I've been through tons of espresso and coffee beans with both my semi-auto and fully-auto machines. My go to has always been Lavazza for espresso but when I rediscovered the joy of a full cup of coffee with a little cream, I searched for a bean that could handle both espresso and coffee in the same machine. I tried Volcanica's peaberry and espresso beans and while good, they weren't spot-on. This bean is spot-on. The espresso it produces is robust and full-bodied without a ton of astringency. The coffee it produces is similarly robust but also incredibly smooth with a full mouthfeel, not a watered down espresso bean taste. This is a great bean, I highly recommend.

I followed the instructions provided by the coffee roaster and made sure my order was fulfilled by them, so I would hopefully get a freshly roasted coffee. Unfortunately, no. In spite of the order being fulfilled by the roaster, I got coffee that was roasted two months ago, well past the time when flavors of a specific origin are identifiable. Will end up returning!

I loved so much!! Smell, taste is excellent and fresh.

This is the second bag of this gloriousness that I’ve ordered. It has such a wonderful and not-bitter coffee taste. It works perfectly with my Baratza Encore (grind #20) and Chemex!! It’s the smoothest, most wonderful coffee I’ve ever had and look forward to it every morning!!

I love coffee, but this just tasted strange to me. Maybe it’s an acquired taste, but I couldn’t enjoy it.

Good flavor roasted 2 weeks prior to receiving a little expensive but would consider buying again
