Not one song to me in original key for Eltons versions. However yes you can get away with it at times. I did not care for this due to keys being too far off for me. Your song for example was just too off for me to even sing along to , and playing it finger style I could not wrap my ears around it. More so when I played for folk and they asked what song was that? Good book I'm having fun learning these tunes on acoustic guitar, simple transcriptions but they sound more impressive than they really are.

I hate to dis this book. I had high hopes. But ultimately I have to agree with other reviewers about odd arrangements in unfriendly keys. I wouldn’t buy again. :-(

A very good songbook. It is not for the beginner guitar player. The arrangements are for intermediate players. That being said, it is well written and has a good selection of songs.

I have quite a number of the Hal Leonard fingerstyle guitar books and they are generally very good but this isn’t one one of the best! Disappointed with quite a few of the arrangements.

moderately easy arrangements, sound good to me although everyone else in the family leaves the room when I play.

All songs I needed. Pleased with purchase.
