Great Scooter for 7yr old
This scooter is great. Purchased for my son's 7th birthday. The speed limit is perfect as it goes just fast enough for him to enjoy, but not so fast as to be dangerous (I can run faster than its top speed). The battery holds its charge well. After following the charging directions, we tested the battery life on a semi-flat trail that I ran while my son (who weighs 50lbs) scooted along side me. It slowed around 3.5 miles, but still held up to 4 miles. The only flaw I can find is that the break was a bit hard for my son to squeeze; however, it has eased a bit with continued use and the scoother slows pretty fast upon release of the throttle. I'd recommend this for any child 6 and over.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
I purchased this for my 9 year old as a “Santa” gift for Christmas, as he asked for an electric scooter on his wish list! I took the plunge and found this one after visiting multiple stores and found everyone sold out of half decent brands. Christmas morning: he opened and was so excited to use it - we assembled in 20 mins, maybe a little more. Very little assembly needed! He was outside zipping up and down the street continuously for half hour before it died (no, we didn’t follow directions to fully charge prior to first use!). Time passed... the scooter was his “car”, riding to friends houses for months. Still, no issues, ran great, speed maintained (quick for a scooter!) Unfortunately, he left it at the end of the driveway and a passing car somehow ran over the back of the scooter, “totaling” it, as car owners would call it! It was a sad day; he was very upset and the car never stopped that day; eventually (the neighbor who hit the scooter) stopped by to apologize and tried to give me $20 for it... I told her to keep it; definitely worth the money spent - aside from saving time - going from friends house to friends house, his smile every time he turned it on made the purchase that much better!!! Highly recommend!!! I purchased two electric scooters after (rather not say the brand) and neither battery lasted as long - matter of fact, the scooters themselves stayed in working condition for 6 - 9 months; all scooters were highly used, abused and treated poorly - the RAZOR outlasted - we miss it dearly!! We just don’t have that kind of money to put out, and the kids are a little older now (RAZOR dirt bike now!)

Great beginner electric scooter
My 9 year old has been asking for an electric scooter for awhile. After lots of searching we decided on this one. I’m so glad we did. It’s not to fast, but fast enough for her. And I love that the brakes are on the handle. We’ve only had it for 2 weeks , but so far we’ve been really happy with our purchase.

great scooter, needs modern batteries.
I got this for my 7yr old son for making A/B honor roll. So there are some really good things about this scooter, however I have 2 complaints, the battery charge time is too long, around 12hrs which only give you one ride a day, and the runtime, 45min. This uses Lead Acid batteries, same as in your car. they are stable and work well but are an older battery technology. If you are looking for longer runtimes check out the Razor PowerCore E90 which has a 70min runtime and is about the same price. This scooter has s regular tire front wheel with a scooter wheel in the back, I liked the regular tire of the scooter tire on the E90, I felt it would be more stable and less bumpy. Over all I, and my son are very happy with it. It is durable and well build, assembly was easy. it is a little heavy, its hard for my son to get in and out of the house. At the rated 45min runtime (which we have gotten it should give abut 7.5 miles of driving before battery dies. I am going to attempt to convert this to lithium batteries when these batteries die, which should give longer run times and a 2-3 hr charge instead of a 12hr charge time.

Your kids will love it!
Had this about 2 weeks and it's been great! I got it for my 5 year old daughter because her sister (7) got the e200s and I didn't want her to have to ride alone. So far it's been crashed, dragged, ridden to the park ect. And has performed perfectly. It's slightly big for my 5 year old daughter but she handles it just fine and I didn't want her to out grow it within a year. it's plenty fast and she is able to use the hand break also the 3mph kick start worried me a bit but she does it with no problem though I will say the motor does sorta kick on (and take off like a bat) so starts are a little wobbly and sketchy but the more she rides it the less this is an issue she hasn't quite got the hang of U turns yet so that's what I work with her on when riding. So if ur on the fence about ur 5-6 year old and whether u should start with the e90 or this, I would say if u got money to burn start with the e90 and upgrade later but if this is a rare purchase ur 5 year old will handle this one fine with just a small learning curve. and I guess it should be mentioned my kid absolutely loves riding it (even after some crashes and bumps and bruises) and finally it charges in about 4 hours seems plenty tough so far. The top of the handlebar down to the standing pad is exactly 30 inches make sure your kids chin is over this and they should be fine. FYI I briefly let my 5 year old try the e200s and it was definitely to big and heavy for her to ride(perfect for my 7 year old though)

Scooter max speed doesn’t last long
The scooter is super cute and our daughter loved it at first, BUT it does not work as advertised. Something must be wrong with the battery as it will not go full speed after maybe 1 mile or even less. We charged it after every use for +12 hours but the scooter starts to slow down significantly after a few rounds around the block. I am convinced this is not user error as we have followed the instructions thoroughly. I doubt one charge would even last 10 miles as described, we never tested it for that long cuz my daughter would get bored once it starts moving no faster than 5 miles an hour. Additionally, the closed kick stand sticks out a bit to for and has scratched the inside of my daughter’s ankle when kick starting the scooter. The back tire is made out of hard plastic which makes the ride very bumpy and loud (definitely not a smooth ride), and since the tire is so small it makes it difficult to get over even the smallest edge or onto a side walk, I have to always help her lift it up. We are returning the scooter and purchasing a different model.

A wonderful electric scooter!
This was a Christmas gift for my seven year old grandson who loves all things technical and electrical. He was tickled to receive this and had thoroughly enjoyed riding it under the supervision of both his mom & dad and he definite wears a helmet. Note: it takes about twelve hours to fully charge the first time.
