I purchased this same item 5 years ago for my flock and my chickens totally LOVE it. Because it's closed, it keeps their water clean & fresh longer. It's easy to clean & refill. This small company sends a little note with the purchase saying thank you for supporting their small business. They also included (both times I purchased this) an extra, attachable drinking cup for the unit - as a thank you. I would DEFINITELY recommend this product AND this company! I'm not paid to do, or say this... I just like them this much! It's also an attractive unit (for those who like the coop to look snazzy) and it has a removable cone on top of the lid, so the chickens can't perch on the lid. It's got an easy carry handle with a roll/pad that protects the fingers & it came with a chain & 2 carabeaner type things - if you want to hang it. I prefer it on a cinder block, on top of a pallet... which keeps it away from the dirt, & the cups stay cleaner, longer... OH... and the new version has removable 'inner' cups for even easier cleaning. Definitely an A++++++++++++

Better quality than expected! Easy to clean and full. These keep water clean from dust and debris. Chickens easily figured them out (switched from trough style). Each cup provides ample water and stays clean. So so happy!

I really like this water container for my girls, but to fill it I have to remove it and then the cups sit on the ground I feel like because of this after a month or two in the cups leak. The other thing is when it starts to get low and by low I mean a 1/4 left of the container of water it tips to one side. More than once because of the leaking I found my girls waterless on a hot summer day. I can no longer use it. I got it a few months ago. Great idea poorly executed.

We are new to chickens...but enjoying the adventure. Our 6 week old chicks went into the coop this week. The original waterer model we bought from another company had spigots in the cups that the chicks needed to peck to release water. Now I may not be a chicken expert but...all six of our chickens couldn't release the water....I left their old brooder waterer in the coop just in case. I stressed out all day at work that my little guys had no water in the heat. I called it quits and ordered this model. Arrived today and as soon as the waterer was in the coop it had 6 customers belly up to the bar ordering a beverage....we also have their porthole feeder...love them both. Especially for the pointed cap which keeps big Bertha from playing queen of the mountain. Strong material. Well made. Happy hens ...bock bock.

The cups get clogged and are not easy to clean. Otherwise, it holds plenty of water and is easy to fill.

I have the nipple waterer from Rent a Coop but I wanted to try this one because my girls like big sips of water. They seem to like this waterer. One started drinking from it the second I put it down. My other waterer and feeder from Rent a Coop have both held up for years so that's why I went with this brand.

Been using it for a couple of months. It was a bit of a hassle to install but appreciated the drill bit that was included. with the float kit. Much easier to clean than what I used before. Algae grows in little cups but I just wipe out and no big deal. It is growing in the main container but not really an issue I'll probably clean it out once or twice a year. I added a float to both of them so they refill when needed. Best thing is the chickens don't get on it. I hung it from a chain. I have one on a timer that comes on once a day and the other one is on all the time. That one leaks more not sure why. I can't see the leak but the ground is wet all around it. It gets hot here in the summer so I need one that won't run out of water. I have 10 hens and 2 roosters.

Very easy to fill and use. Chickens live it. Doesn’t get mold, doesn’t fall over.

This waterer is perfect fort small flock. And I appreciate that it's a family run company
