My son loves the water painting and he loves the fact this has so many different pictures and can do them again and again.Nice mess-free "colouring" and great for practising the alphabet. It's also alternative entertainment to our son on long journeys rather than movies/tablets for at least some of the journey & the galt water magic flip charts are great for this. They work by filling the pen with water.The cards have a few scratches from coloring same plays to long, this doesnt really affect it, just aesthetically it doesnt look very nice. Solid and durable. Very happy with purchase.higly recommend

The only difficulty I have with this product is the words that they choose to identify with the letters are not always the best, especially for teaching kids phonics, eg e is for eagle. Otherwise it is a fun set for kids although tell them not to press too hard or the special coating can come off.

Bought for twin boys 3 years old. One liked them tremendously but the other only wanted one of the cards which was black ink - his favourite colour. They both managed to press too hard and scraped off the ‘water’ film!! So about 5-6 are scratched and the picture shows through.

I bought this for a child at school. He absolutely loved it but wrecked the first 3 pages with the water pens included as they scratched up the surface. I quickly replaced them with a water brush and the results were much better. It has been used quite a lot now so has some longevity it's just a shame about the ruined letters.

Good multifunction toy- you use the water pen to colour the picture in or you can encourage children to copy the letters underneath. There are also letters at the top of each card which you can use the water pens on which encourage children to write the letters in the right shape. Great item would buy again as presents as it keeps my kids busy for a long time.

Idea is great, however the quality is not there. Pens is not wet enough so kids start pressing it to pictures and this way they scratch the top layer. And you can't use it again. I used it for couple of trips and it went to bin.

It is like clever but most children will press too hard with the water pen causing the tip of the pen to bend over and the top layer of paper on the cards to be scraped off.

Brilliant piece of kit! A fantastic selection of accessories which have kept my 14 month old engaged for a very long time.Folds up small and can be assembled very quickly - which makes it handy when you need your little one to be occupied for a few minutes.Great mess free activity for children of all ages. Would be great for older children practicing handwriting too.
