Very substantial pieces
Always love stainless, it stays looking nice e for a long time. ALL stainless will stick if you use too high a temp, or not allow the oil to get hot enough when frying. But it cleans easily IF you treat it right. This set has a heavy bottom, and they are solid pieces. I expect this will be the last set I ever have to purchase.I've bought several sets that just didn't last...or on using them I didn't like the shape of the pans, or the fact the the lids weren't vented. So far, this set seems perfect. I bought other pieces of this set and then added this large skillet.

Versatile cookware- but beware...
I am replacing a cookware set that's 30 years old which had non-metal handles with stainless pots. I was concerned about the all-metal handles on this pan, on both the pan and the lid. This is a large pan. Perfect for what I need, but it requires two hands to move it when it has food in itThe pan is stainless and multi-layered. They seem well made with smooth seams and good rivets on handle. The handle is long and sturdy. Lid is heavy glass, with a vent and a stainless rim to reduce chips, and a metal handle. After bringing water to boil the pot handle gets warm but tolerable at the farthest end, where you grab onto. If you grab closer to the pan it is hot enough to burn. If your pot isn't too full, you can hold it at the end; if it is full you will need two hands and POTHOLDERS since you will have to grab closer to the pot. The pot lid fits well and the vent is ideal- no rattling or spurting water when boiling. Be aware the lid handle does get warm- test before grabbing it. Extended cooking of 15 min or more and lid handle is too hot to grab.I am happy with the quality of the pan, and construction. I am very happy with the lid construction. I am disappointed in the heat transfer in the handles- especially after reading reviews that indicated they stayed cooler. I have held off reviewing for two months but the fact is, if you boil something for more than a few minutes, you will have to be concerned about getting burned on the lid handle, and careful on the pot handle- especially if you need to use two hands.

Strong Stainless Steel, Deep Pan
We wanted a big deep stainless pan for spaghetti and other deep pan items. I read a review of a cheaper SS pan, similar to this one, but not as deep and wider. That other pan was reported to develop a bulge up in the center over time, not good. This pan has never done this. When I received this pan, I noticed it is heavy, so good it has the extra handle to lift it . The pan came with a beautiful finish, but be careful not to use steel wool to clean, or you will damage it. Even greeny pads will cause scratches. Just be aware. We Love this pan, and it should last us well for years.

GREAT COOKWARE - I PREFER IT TO MY ALL CLAD.
I own quality cookware - All Clad, Caphalon and Duxtop - that I use on an induction cooktop.I MUCH prefer this Duxtop to All Clad. The handles feel far better, heat distribution is excellen, and it feels heavier. This particular pan is BIG - it's GREAT for complete 1 pan meals. I slow cooked a brisket, potatoes and carrots in it.

Great pan
We bought this to replace our pan that had non stick coating pealing off. Our favorite thing about this pan is that it doesn't shed! We've been using it for about six months now, and it still looks great. It is a very heavy, durable pan that cooks everything evenly.

Fantastic large pan
This pan retains the heat without burning food. I cooked complete dinners in this pan without over-cooking the food. Excellent for sauteing also. Nice size, but heavy. Easy cleaning. If you are serious about cooking, this is the pan to use for larger quantities..

Not too heavy, wish I had bought it sooner.
Great for cooking a large stir-fry meal. Nice touch with the volume measurements (liters only) inside pan. As others have stated, the clear lid quickly steams over. I rotate pan as I fry on stove's 12in induction element. Found I have to set heat one click higher than with 3qt Duxtop saute pan. So far, the handle does not get hot,

COUVERCLE TROP JUSTE !!
Bonjour!

Great saute pan for our induction top
This pan has worked extremely well both on induction and non-induction. It's now my go-to.

On retourne.

Excellent Pan
It’s a well made pan, it feels very sturdy. It has a thick bottom and it heats evenly and when properly oiled, nothing sticks. It’s a good looking pan, and cleaning it was a breeze. We are very impressed at the quality of the pan for the price. Will definitely look into other pans from the same brand when we need more cookware.

Poor shipping conditions - Ours got scratched on metal surface
I purchased this product expecting really good quality and a wrapping to match that quality. It arrived in an improvised cardboard box and was wrapped in bubble-wrap with the handle exposed. Upon reception I though, meh- No effort on seller's side but at least the handle isn't damaged. Now, Christmas morning arrives. My wife, for whom the gift was meant for, unwraps the gift. I had placed the pan in a bag with thin paper around it. So as she opens it, she falls in love with the feel of it and the overall weight. But! To my surprise, the lid is scratched. As if someone used sandpaper on it. I will try to contact the seller to perhaps get a new lid. This is the first time since I've been buying from Amazon that I'll have to contact a seller. Perhaps I've been lucky thus far but as this is a gift I'm really disappointed and want a replacement for the lid. (See photo for scratch)
