Renny ORIGINAL - Smartphone Hub & Wireless Cell Phone Ringer for your Home (Metal)

I bought this device in anticipation of disconnecting my land line. I don't normally walk around the house with my cell phone, so if my phone is in one end of the house and I am in the other, I cannot hear it ring. I researched similar devices and settled on this one based on the customer feedback. My house is approximately 2200 square feet, and I have the device in my kitchen. I put my phone on the opposite end of the house and tested it, and it worked great. It is real easy to hear the device ring. I did have problems trying to select a different ring tone, but will read the instructions and work on that more and update on my findings. One thing I did notice, and I don't know how to fix, is that I was in my bedroom typing a text message and I could hear the "clicking"through the device in the other room. I am sure there is a way to turn this off, and will research this as well, but if it can't be this could be annoying. So far, from what I have tested, it will definitely serve my purpose. It is also much smaller than I anticipated. I didn't pay attention to the measurements, but it is nice and small and inconspicuous. I also haven't tried answering calls through the device yet, either (just received it a couple of days ago).

This unit would not work properly with my iPhone 5s. So why the 5 star rating? The answer: because Olens Technology has the best customer service I have ever seen. The Renny would not stay connected to my phone. I contacted Olens Technology and they worked with me in every way imaginable to correct the issue including sending me a second unit. It too would not stay connected to this phone. Olens Technology paid to ship both units back to them and I was not out a penny. They are outstanding. Now to the unit. When it was connected it worked perfectly. It was loud and clear. For some reason it just did not like this phone, or the phone did not like it. The company tells me that there is a very small percentage of iOS devices (Apple) experiencing this issue and they are investigating the problem. My recommendation: Go ahead and try the unit. If it stays connected to your phone without disconnecting as mine did, you will have a valuable quality made Bluetooth ringer. If for some reason it doesn't function properly you will have no problem returning it. I might add that this is a finely crafted element looking device.

We got rid of our landline and were very worried that we didn't have the ability to loudly hear when phone calls came into our cell phones. With the Renny Ringer we were able to easily hear when we received phone calls regardless of where we were in our two story house. Everyone who gets rid of their landline should strongly consider buying this little Dynamo! We had some early difficulties connecting this to our cell phones but the tech. person from the company was EXTREMELY helpful and quickly responsive! It's amazing for such a small company how quickly and sincerely they want ALL of their customers to be completely satisfied!

I'd give this 5 stars if the different blue-tooth connected phones could have their own ringtones. It looks great, small, lasts a few hours when the power goes out, and lets me know I've got a text or call, when my phone is SOMEwhere in the house, buried in a purse or something, this baby (residing in the living room next to my chair) dings for texts, plays my chosen tune for phone calls. I also use an app on my phone for an alarm clock and was surprised to hear the alarm sounding on this gadget. Works great.

Not only is my Renny Original outstanding, but the customer service at Olens Technology is absolutely outstanding. I had a problem with my Renny andsomeone on a blog suggested I contact Olens directly and see if the problem could be resolved. I did, and they were great to work with. They arewhat "customer service" is all about. They were prompt, courteous, and made sure I was a satisfied customer. My Renny has great sound, and the reason I purchased it was because my phone would ring through it so I did not have to carry the phone with me throughout my home. It is easy to set up andworks great.

So far it is working good that I know of. I haven't yet attempted to answer a call on it. I can hear all the audio next to my bed, so it's probably better to have the do not disturb on the phone on at night. I haven't had it long enough to see if this is a great product, but out of the package, I was unable to connect the USB into the power adaptor it came with, so since I had other ones, I used that. Thank goodness the USB portion was not the problem and it was the power adaptor itself. So for that I gave it a 3 star. The primary component seems to work fine.

I bought this primarily for the purpose of a loud ringer, since I am a sound sleeper and I sometimes miss calls on my iPhone 5. This device is LOUD and it does exactly what I wanted it to do.I read in the reviews that the sound is very good when using it as a wireless extension speaker. The sound is GREAT!!!! As a musician, I appreciate the good bass response and the good high response, too. It's just a great sounding little speaker. When playing it loud, it does not sound distorted at all. This is a very well designed and constructed piece of technology and I'm glad to have found it.When I had some questions about its operation, the technical support was excellent. This company really cares about their customers.

I like the sleek design and the size. It has very good sound. I can hear it from multiple rooms in the house.The thing I don't like is that I don't have enough time to answer it as it only rings twice. It voices the phone number over the ring but by the time it gets to the last digit the call has already ended as not answered.
