Low cost Tinted windows
Excellent product and packaged in great condition. Very easy to install if care is taken and the instructions followed. Has a great resulting finish for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

4 Stars
This stuff is very fiddly. I would recommend having the patience of a saint before even thinking of buying. I used it on my front door to reduce light hitting a fish tank to prevent algae growth and my finish is far from perfect with air bubbles all over the place. I have tried to remove the bubbles where possible but it's safe to say I wouldn't personally fit this to my own car and would let more experienced hands do it for me. The end product does look nice when fitted correctly however. There is not a problem with the product as such and more of a problem with the user.Following the instructions was pretty simple. I cleaned the window with glass cleaner and then applied some soapy water. Whilst the window was still wet I applied the film. I had someone help me with it due to it being so fiddly. It might be worth trying with cling film first as a tester as it has a very similar behaviour.

Good quality and price
Great quality tint. Comes well packaged in a tube. So no kinks or dents in it. Also comes with instructions. I have not put it on the windows yet

Great for price but annoying to install.
This product is great for the price but very hard to install as it is so thin. Imagine trying to install brittle plastic wrap with glue on one side to a window. It’s not easy. So take on this task with that in mind you will probably need some help.

In the bin
Too fiddly to work on car windows. There are too many steps to fit it properly (spray, put up to cut, spray, display backwards - how are you supposed to do that on a car window???, spray again with solution, swap forwards...)While trying to flip it again on the right side, there was a bit of wind, the film folded in half and was never recovered after that. I had to throw it in the bin. Total waste of time and money.

For windows that aren't square nor oblong...
Great product.Very important to follow the instructions that come with the product and not to rush the job.Make sure that you know which is the film side and which is the backing sheet. If you have windows that are not square nor oblong but have corner angles different to 90 degrees then I recommend that you do not place the product on the designated window to remove the backing sheet and that you choose another pre-wetted non designated window large enough to take the film with minimal or no overlap. Once you have removed the backing sheet, the film will be adhesive side towards you and can be easily peeled off the larger substitute window and then positioned the correct way around on the pre-wetted designated window.I had three widows of varing sizes all not square in a conservatory and the job was done in a couple of hours. It looks good and works as expected.

Be sure of the sizes you need
The size of sheets are a bit useless for some areas. I bought to do my rear window but was way to small. A few more inches wouldnt go a miss.Overall quality seems good.

Patience needed
There is a knack to using this film. Firstly patience which is not normally something I am known for. The film can be cut to the rough size and shape using ordinary scissors. Separate the backing film by using small strips of cellotape to both sides of the film and pulling apart taking care not to let any of the sticky side to touch another sticky part. Wetting with a slight soap solution and the film can be positioned accurately. Then using a VERY sharp blade the edges can be trimmed to fit the window. I find using a credit card is best for squeezing away any bubbles. I bought the very dark version which is great for side windows but I found a bit too dark for the rear window. My mistake. A quality item if used carefully.
