I did the "banana flavoring" powder and woke up with a swollen face the next day. I totally went with what Massy said about it being high quality ingredients, no soy, or preservatives, artificial colors, etc. But she never said there no chemicals. Go on YouTube and search for 20/20's 15 minute segment on "flavorings." Flavorings are done by taste and smell scientists in a lab. The FDA allows companies to say natural flavors as long as they start with a banana, for example with this product. From there they can add up to 100 chemicals to 1) enhance that banana flavor, 2) enhance the smell, 3) make you crave more of it. If anyone can find a clean vegan protein powder with no chemical enhancement, please let me know. As a secondary note the product is UBER SWEET. It needs diluting just like the BCAA powder which also has "natural flavorings."

Finally a healthy protein that gives you results and is good for you all the way around . I work out 5-6 days a week and use protein often . I’m lactose intolerance so you can imagine the nightmares i had with whey proteins . & even better it’s VEGAN ! Tru Supplements is everything they say they are ! NO BS. Thank you Massy ! Finally something for people and woman like myself who want all the good without all the fluffy and lies ! This is my second bottle of Tru my first was the Birthday Cake flavor which was delicious. Now i have the Mint Chocolate Chip flavor and it is mouth watering and delicious. Almost like ice cream without the fat and more protein! Would definitely recommend!

Ok so let me clarify something a couple other buyers said: this protein powder isn't chalky, BUT it doesn't dissolve completely to liquid form when mixed with water/milk/etc... I've made it into a protein latte with coffee and milk and also just a plain old protein shake using water 1x and almond milk 1x. I've gotten the same consistency with all 3. It blends up great, comes out really creamy, without the need for a banana, but it is a lil gritty because it doesn't dissolve 100%. So, as long as ya blend it up good there's no clumps, no chalky taste and no bad aftertaste either. I would definitely recommend this protein powder and am definitely going to try some of their other dessert flavors!!!

I have been using Tru Supplements Protein powders for the past 3-4 year and have always bought the Vanilla Cream flavor and loved it.......BUT after trying this new Peanut Butter Cupcake flavor, OMG it has been my new found love of flavor. I do not find Tru Supplements protein powder as chalky as other brands I’ve tasted. My boyfriend has been lifting weights since his teenage years and when he tasted Tru Supplements protein powder, he was impressed and said it was really good and not chalky. On another note, it does not make me gassy. Everyone is different and you have to try it for yourself to see how your body will receive and respond to any and all products. Last but not least, I LOVE THE FACT THAT ALL OF TRU SUPPLEMENT PRODUCTS ARE PLANT BASED AND SAFE TO CONSUME EVEN FOR PREGNANT AND LACTATING MOMS! I'm a carnivore that eats tons of veggies. I love this protein powder because it is natural and safe. It is not too chalky and it tastes really good! I live in the Caribbean & have to pay for shipping and duties, so it is a little more expensive for me, but other than that, it's the perfect product. Perhaps refill sachets instead of the containers might be better for shipping and the environment?

I am pretty careful about reviewing food products as taste is always subjective. I also like to try the productive more than once and for something like protein powder use it in a variety of combinations.One thing to note when you open it, you smell the peanut butter and as you can see in the photo there are pieces of real dried strawberries in it.I had this with almond milk, oatmeal, chia seeds. I had it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Because I looked up the ingredients and there wasn't anything I couldn't pronounce or had more than 12 letters in it's name I let my 11-year old daughter (who is pretty picky in what she eats) try it plain with cow's milk and she loved it.The peanut butter flavor is not very strong (which I was afraid it would be) but very "soft" or "gentle" it doesn't have a bite to it...and the strawberries are a good combination of flavor.The texture of the powder is very fine, it is a plant based protein.I exercise daily. I do HIIT and strength type of workouts. If you are looking to supplement your protein intake and would like to try something other than the usual flavor offerings and you want to go plant-based I highly recommend you try this product.

I will preface by saying I've been using Orgain for two years (mostly because of availability at Walmart), which is adequate, but is pretty bland and can be hard to mix. All of these reviews saying this powder is "chalky" or "tastes bad" don't know what bad tasting protein powder is, this stuff is definitely expensive BUT MAN IS IT GOOD. It dissolves easily in water, doesn't clump like Orgain does. I just can't say enough good things, it even has aminos and extra vitamins

This is the worst tasting protein powder I've ever tried! I found this product through Massy Arias' 30-day program, and I had high hopes for finding a decent-tasting, non-dairy powder to add with almond milk for my daily regimen. I think it tastes and smells disgusting, and it does not mix well with just water. And the price per quantity is ridiculous! I couldn't even finish using this product; we trashed it yesterday and considered it a loss. I would never recommend this product to anyone ever.
